06 - unfortunate crop and the area on the right could have used something eye-catchy.
07 - not the best crop and calleigh's face lacks some 'highlights' such as sharpening or colour...
08 - the background is too bright and distracting

Wow, I hate this, they all look great! But:

#06: unfortunate crop, too dark
#08: too bright
#05: washed out colors and a bit oversharpened at once lowers the quality

6 - too dark, weird crop
5 - too bright
7 - it looks like it've been just cropped and that's it

great job all, though :)

6 - The cropping seems too harsh on this one.
8 - I find it very bright
7 - I'm sure this wasn't the intention, but the way it was cropped and the placement of the picture in the middle, makes it look kind of huge...

7. I don't think cropping like this was a good choice. Doesn't seem artistic and Calleigh's head looks strange, so big, there in the middle.

1. The colouring looks strange. One of Cath's eyes is just a black spot while her chin looks too white. I don't know if it was really the intention, but I think it was not favorable.

6. The place where Flack is placed leaves a too big and too light background comparing to Flack's image and besides, his face even seems a little too dark.


Wow, this was hard. They are so good, voting is difficult. Good work everyone ;)

8: the background it too bright and kind of blends into his bald head :)
1: The colors are a little to Contrasty(yes that is my word) a little more brightness would have made it pop a bit more.and the crop is a tad funny
5: oversharpened, and a bit washed out

Good job everyone!! and thanks for all the well wishes! as soon as i get an apartment and my computer comes out of it's deep dark scary storage unit i shall return, full force. I'm going through major withdrawl :)

I love this icon - she looks so...bright! :lol: It's one of those icons that you don't even realise is "plain" (i.e. without decorations) because it's just so pretty! ^^ Good job, fo_poozle!
