Life Changing Events (Snicker RP)

She eyes him as she Kisses his lips softly "and No one is as crazy as us I seriously doubt they'd Use the ALS to scan for DNA" she smirked "Unless of course something major happens here" she covers her mouth "I should probably be quiet before I Jinx myself"
 
Lindsey looked over at her concerened mother.
"Don't worry. They're professionals! They wouldn't do something like this if they weren't."
Still, she squeezed her mother's hand.

The blindfold was tightly situated on the sword thrower, and he held on to his dagger for a good while.
"Well folks, seeing as how this is the first time he's doing this trick blindfolded there will be some hesitation!"
The audience broke out into murmurs.
"But don't worry; he'll be fine! ...The performer that is!"
That earned a soft laugh from audience members.
Grissom ran through every possible scenario but when he saw the dagger flying at him he had no time to think. He forgot to close his eyes like he planned - he actually thought he forgot to breathe for that brief moment.
 
Catherine wanted to cry when she heard that it was his first time doing it. She was totally freaked out and downright scared of what would happen if something went wrong. She squeazed Lindsey's hand hard and looked away when the sword was thrown. She didn't want to see this. She turned her head the opposite direction, just waiting for the worst to happen. She didn't know what she would do if Grissom were to get hurt, or worse. She had just found a new love, she didn't want to throw it out the window just like that.
 
(Those crazy ringmasters - always building suspense! :lol:)

Lindsey held her breath but soon after jumped to her feet and applauded when she saw the dagger imbedded in the apple. The whole audience erupted into applause and she nudged her mother.
"He made it! Cool."

"Ladies and gentlemen, give our brave volunteer a hand!"
Grissom looked a little dazed but otherwise fine as the clown led him back to his seat.

Sara gave him a look "who would be spying on us besides well Maybe Greg and He's been sworn to secrecy" she looked around "But Honestly that was the most amazing moment of my life" she kissed him as she rubbed her belly "because it gave me this"
 
Nick chuckled and smiled at her. "Sar, those few hours in the Lab with you were the most amazing of my entire life!"
he looked around once more and made sure no one was around before guiding Sara to the nearest wall and kissing her passionatly.
 
Sara kissed him back "Well Well well Mr Stokes see when you do things like that it just makes me want to take you into trace and well you know" she raises an eyebrow at him
 
Catherine turned when she heard clapping, and felt her world return to normal. Before she could do anything else she hopped up and ran to Grissom before he had made it back to his seat. She practically jumped into his arms when she saw him returning in one piece. She was so scared that she was going to lose him and no one would have wanted to see the Catherine that would have emerged if something had gone wrong. But for now, Catherine wrapped her arms tlightly around him, willing herself not to let him go.
 
Nicks eyes grew dimmer as he shook his head. "I guess we cant really afford to lose our jobs." He patted Sara's stomach lovingly and smiled. "Especially not with a baby on the way..."
 
she smiles as she Kisses him back "but theres really nothing in the employee handbook about canoodling in the hallway" she Held his hand "we should really get this over with though and tell everyone we got hitched"

Grissom felt himself relax into the embrace, glad to be back with Catherine. He pointedly ignored a few "awws" and whistling from a few audience members. Only when Lindsey made a face and mumbled, "Alright already, he's alive," did he reluctantly loosen his hold.
"Sorry about that."
The girl just shrugged, "My mom was worried and you were really scared. I guess I can't blame you."
