(Okay, I've spent like a week thinking about what to post for Catherine, and still came up with nothing, so hopefully the song "Like we never loved at all" by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw will help while I'm writing this lol)
Cath held tightly onto her pillow. She wished that Grissom was here now. She wished that Lindsay was happy for her, she wished that she could love Grissom without having this huge hole in her heart. She didn't want this to happen to her. She loved Grissom, and she knew there was a chance that he loved her back.
How can you just walk on by
without one tear in your eye?
Don’t you have the slightest feelings left for me?
Maybe that’s just your way
of dealing with the pain,
forgetting everything
between our rise and fall
like we never loved at all.
Catherine remembered that night that they sat out and watched the stars. She felt happier than she had felt in a very long time that night. At this point, Catherine was crying hysterically. Either way, she couldn't win. Either she had Grissom, and not her daughter, or her daughter and not Grissom. She didn't know what to do. She just wanted to be happy, but it seemed like no one wanted her to be.
Did you forget the magic?
Did you forget the passion?
Oh, and did you ever miss me,
and long to kiss me?
