MissMurder
Lab Technician
Chapter 1
The night air was crisp as winter had begun to rip its way through Las Vegas. Crime had also decreased, it seemed to be packing its bags for the holidays.
Gil Grissom, the graveyard shift supervisor, walked down the halls of the crime lab. With nothing to do, he was becoming frustrated. The 'Holiday spirit' hadn't arrived in him yet, it never did.
He bumped into Catherine Willows. She was acting joyful, it sickened him:
"Oh hey, sorry Gil. I didn't mean that."
"Of course you didn't mean it, nobody means it."
"Hey whoa, attitude alert Gil. What's your problem?" Catherine was getting angry now.
"Nothing." With that Grissom walked off.
He is always a jerk at Christmas time, Catherine thought and then continued her trip to Warrick Brown's lab.
Grissom slammed the door to his office when he arrived. He was sure that the whole lab heard the slam, and that the questioning employees would be arriving any second.
He was right. A slender, tall brunette knocked the door gently. Grissom caught her scent, the apple from her shampoo drifted up his nose. He knew that could only be one woman- Sara Sidle.
