Coroner
Ok, I apologize for the double post, but the edit time limit on my post ran out, heres the last bit of part two. And for everybodys sanity, I do not know how to make mini fireworks. It just popped into my head so I do not know if it works or not

“Sooo….Sara,” Catherine starts, “What’d you like to do now?” She can’t go to Henderson with her; she’d probably end up forcing everyone at the scene to let her take their DNA, trying to make clones of them or something. Sara has a creative mind, open to lots of possibilities. But, right now, alone in the car with her, Catherine can only see the whiny, stubborn version left after Gil dumped her with the older, strawberry-blonde CSI.
“Hmmph!” Sara answers as she crosses her arms over her chest and slumps back into the seat. Catherine adjusts the rear-view mirror so she can see Sara’s face, and what does she see? The brunette’s eyes have welled up with tears and she’s looking out the window absent-mindedly, “Gil doesn’t like me, does he?” She sobs.
Catherine’s heart drops. Sara should know by now that Gil likes her, since they have been seeing each-other for a couple of months. It breaks her up inside to see this, but she has an idea of what will make her friend feel better.
She slows down to a stop in the middle of North Tropicana Avenue. It’s an off road from the highway, perfect for what she has in mind.
“Sara?” She coos as she opens the back door to let her out.
“Y-y-yess….Catherine?” She manages through sobs and sniffles.
“Can you grab both of our kits for me? I have a surprise for you.”
Catherine read on the internet somewhere how to make mini fire-crackers and fireworks from the lead in fingerprint powder and some other things in her field kit. She wasn’t supposed to be using the kits as they were property of the Las Vegas PD, but she didn’t care – her mission was to cheer Sara up. She rather be subjected to the whines of a hyper creative fingerprint duster hanging around her than a total sob story pining away for some one who didn’t reject them at all.
Sara perks up a little and jumps from the door Catherine is still holding open for her. Catherine shuts the door and Sara grabs the kits – she pulls out a small folding table and two chairs for them to sit at.

Mere minutes later, Sara Sidle is watching in fascination as Catherine puts the mix of: reflective chalk, fingerprint dust and the gun powder from a bullet she dissected into a cardboard cylinder from her kit used to hold swabs. She sticks a little of the string from their bullet trajectory kits in the end, since it’s cotton, and she knows how to improvise – it should be sufficient for the fuse.
“Ready, Sara?” Catherine asks and smiles as the young brunette enthusiastically nods her head.
“Yess! I wanna see the sparkle Catherine!” She squeals, already giddy with excitement.
“Ok, we should stand back a little bit, why don’t you go stand over there while I light it?” She laughs softly at Sara’s enthusiasm as she points to a spot a couple of meters away.
Catherine carefully lights the string, it’s burning at a steady pace. She has just enough time to make it to Sara before the flame reaches the bottom of it and……..BOOM!
The gun/fingerprint powder ignites and sends the flaming sparkly mix high into the sky, about 6 meters over their heads as Sara jumps slightly from the sudden *bang* She shrieks in pure delight, “Oohhhh! Catherine! Look!” Her mouth is just as wide and eyes just as sparkly as the glitter falling back down to earth.
They stay there igniting the others Catherine put together for an hour, before packing up and returning to the lab.
