Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

Ya that makes sense. I was never sold on the Warrick/Catherine relationship, at least not as much as the writers made an enphasis on it, unless there is an episode I missed in which they really had a moment

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

I understood the Yoko Ono syndrome as more of having "the wife" being the controling person in the relationship - the one making all of the decisions - and not being concerned with opinions of other band members, or in Warrick's case, friends and co-workers.

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

Another question for y'all.

I'm trying to figure out why on the Season 5 DVD, they cut Ecklie's scene out where he talks about trying to raise the money for the ransom for Nick, where Ecklie actually is cool for a change. Did anybody else notice this and/or why do you think they cut out this scene? It plays a big part in the episode

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

In "Gum Drops" Greg refers to Warrick's wife Tina as Yoko Ono. I don't know much about her other then she married the Beatle, so can somebody explain the joke to me.

John Lennon divorced his first wife, Cynthia, and took up with a Japanese artist named Yoko Ono. It is widely believed that one of the reasons the Beatles broke up was because of Yoko. (Greg was making a joke because Warrick brought up his new wife's name during a conversation about the murders they were investigating in "Gum Drops." Greg was jesting that if Warrick kept talking about Tina, it would get in the way of the investigation, and also the CSI pals. I thought Greg's joke was hilarious because I'm old enough to remember when the Beatles broke up and all of the gossip that went along with the breakup, chiefly, rumors that it was partially because of Yoko.

When John Lennon started bringing Yoko with him to the rehearsals with Paul, George and Ringo, apparently she kept trying to horn in with her own ideas, suggestions on how they should sing a song, and just became a general nuisance. Paul, George and Ringo didn't like her at all. Maybe John changed once he took up with Yoko. It's been so long ago, I don't really remember all of the facts. I loved the Beatles so much that ever since the break-up, I've had a strong dislike for her.

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

Hi, this is my first post. I've searched around and didn't find the answer, so I'll ask--a few episodes back, while Grissom was on Sabbatical he sent Sara a box and she sent something back to him. I got distracted, what was in the box that Sara sent Grissom? TIA carol

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

Grissom sent Sara a butterfly coccon. [sp?]. She put it in Grissom's office because it had the best conditions, they made a refrence to it in the episode in which, Grissom returned.

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

Thanks. I could have sworn I saw her filling out an address label to Grissom. Must be imagining things.

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

haha you could be confussing Grissom, cuz he was writing her a letter at one point.

I have a question but it's not specific. Okay So i was reading online and it was like CSI drops subtle silent hints to Catherine's former unspoken coke habit.
Could You give me any examples of these episodes?

First one that comes to mind is in Organ Grinder .. Nick asks Catherine how she can tell it's not Coke simply by looking at it and she answers, "Never you mind." With a saucy smirk.

I never knew they were dropping hints that she was into coke. You'd assume she could tell by looking at it simply because it's a seasoned CSI.

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

In Last Laugh, Cath sees the white powder on the table with the food platter, and she says "oh, china..."

Also in Recipe for Murder, when she finds the cocaine: CATH: Some things never change. NICK: What's that? CATH: Cocaine.

Also in Too tough to die, when Eddie has her pinned to the wall, he asks "who paid to close up your nose"

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

She's not anymore, but she was. I can't remember where i read this, i think my friend forwarded it to me on AIM. i can't find it, but if i come upon it, i'll send it to you.

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

I am not sure if this is the right place to post my question, but anyway...
In "Bang Bang" why did they decide to look for Sammy Cutler? How could they think he was alive if he was dead for two months??

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

Because his brother said that he was the one who killed those people and then he dressed like his brother when he was on surviellence cameras making them think he was the guilty one

Re: I Have An Episode/Character Question Thread *No Spoilers

Thank you mrb105
Ok, so Willie pretended that his brother was still alive and even acted like he was Sammy, just to make them think that he was guilty...Is that correct??
I just can't understand how I missed that part of the episode
