The CSI's found out that the man in the cab had called himself 'Sammy', and found out that Sammy had a record and had been released from prison 6 months earlier. So Willie had called himself 'Sammy' in the cab, after the murder, to try and make it appear like it was his brother who had killed his wife.

I'm watching csi in a very unorganized way. I hardly watched any espisodes...
um... I just want to know
1.from the episode I watched in s4 (was it?) Sara seemed to like Grissom. Am I right?
2. does any of the characters like each other?
3. Doesn't Nick look like Joey from Friends? (Not an important question but doesnt he?)

1.from the episode I watched in s4 (was it?) Sara seemed to like Grissom. Am I right? Sara and Grissom are "together" now. We found out at the end of Season six.
2. does any of the characters like each other? That's kind of a hard question to answer, because we don't know for sure. Obviously, Sara and Grissom are interested in each other, but not too sure of anyone else. I think Catherine has a little "thing" for Warrick, though, it has never been proven on the show (Yay for Yo!Bling if they do!)
3. Doesn't Nick look like Joey from Friends? (Not an important question but doesnt he?) I've never noticed any resemblence.

I don't think there is any particular episode that Sara "made up her mind" about his beard. She does like her men clean-shaven. I can't remember what episode it was (I am pretty sure there was an episode, unless I was just dreaming or something..) that she told one her partners that she liked her men clean shaven.
I also don't think she likes or dislikes his beard ('cause if she does, she's got a problem, because that is one fine guy haha) she just prefers no beard.
