Hawaii needs to feel that low gas price love. It's around $3.90 right now. I guess its better than before so I shouldn't complain, but when I hear that the mainland is getting around $3.20 or lower..thats when it really sucks for us.

The gas price doesn't amaze me as much as finding a receipt from 27 years ago does!

I filled up today for $2.99. It had dropped 10 cents from the time I went to work just a few hours before. But other stations were still as high as $3.48. :wtf:

Gas actually went down to $2.94 here in my hometown in Michigan! That's the lowest it's been in a really long time.

In the southeast place where I am...(ha...) it was $3.29. Compared to the last two posts it looks awful, but it was like over 4 bucks a couple weeks ago.

It's $2.99 here this morning. I'm kind of mad I paid $3.16...but then again I wouldn't have made it anywhere if I didn't fill up then.

Dozens get gas in Wis. for 35 cents after mistake
    Oct 15, 6:15 AM (ET)

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (AP) - Sure, gas prices have come down lately. But to 34.9 cents a gallon?

That's what Kelly Joosten and dozens of other motorists paid at a Citgo station Monday. The sign advertised $3.43 for a gallon of premium fuel, but the pump cost read $0.349 a gallon.

"That was amazing," said Joosten, who normally spends about $100 to fill up her 1998 Ford Expedition.

Joosten proudly showed off her receipt for 25.36 gallons at $8.85. She said she saw other motorists filling gas cans, too, at the discounted price.
Station owner JP Raval says the attendant on duty couldn't figure out why the station was suddenly so busy.

Raval estimated 30 to 40 customers fueled up at the incorrect price - between 200 and 300 gallons worth - for about 90 minutes.

"People kept coming, so fast," Raval said. "Everything was crowded; it was like a fairground."

Morrison's supermarket have announced they're dropping (or may have already dropped) the price of unleaded to £0.99.9 per litre.
