I can't really see CSI as being set in anywhere other than America. But I agree, LA would be funny :cool:

We were discussing in Class the other day that if they had a CSI set in New Zealand, what would they call it. We came up with:
CSI: Whaka (Whakatane - pronounced Fa ka)
CSI: CHCH (Christchurch)
CSI: Welly (Wellington)
CSI: Auck (Auckland)
CSI: Dun Dun (Dunedin)

We had some laughs that day. Even our teacher joined in for a wee bit then told us off for being off task. But good times :D :D
 
CSI:AK would be Auckland.

CSI in New Zealand would be cool! As they would have to do a lot of outdoor stuff. Hidden bodys in the native forests etc.
 
Yeah It would be aye!! CSI in New Zealand. The problem with that is we would need really good actors!! We are quite limited here haha

Hey off topic thing but did you know CSI is back on on TV3?

In the case of CSI: NY it has 3 Canadian actors!!!(Clearly they were all too good to be part of CSI: Toronto :rolleyes::lol::lol:)

I am quite upset i've lost Five on my tv upstairs which is on comp... so i can't watch NY upstairs.

And S3 finale repeated on Five soon YEY... should be next week but its xmas day so doubt it will be then. Only good thing is parents watch it so i can downstairs.

Gosh, you reminded me of all those times when I was still living in Wellington! I miss NZ!!! Aotearoa!

Hehe, I think Lake Taupo would be a prime scene for a body though :) I don't think it's that hard to dump a body there :p

I wonder if there's a possibility for a crossover between CSI and a different crime scene unit in a another country, perhaps there's a shared juristiction problem or something? I'm not very well informed on those things but it'd be cool. Danny can complain about british accents and they can complain about his :lol:

Well I don't know of any other Crime Scene shows in England. But there is a police dramma called 'The Bill' and a MI5 based dramma. I couldn't really imagine a crossover but I think it would be funny :lol:

I know how funny wuld that be! have you ever seen this simsons episode where Homer some how gets into the 'Real World' and he thinks everything is strange. I think it would be something like that. :lol:
