What did everyone think of last night's episode? I loved it! Seemed like the old House to me. It was great to see the old team working together. I wish it could stay like that. And what about what Chase did? Wow! We got to see a lot of Chase which is great, cause he's my fav. character besides House. And he took his shirt off!

@FallenForFall just yes to everything ;)

I liked the quirkiness of Kuttner and Co and I somehow miss Amber B**ch, but it's really nice and nostalgic to see the old ducklings again :)

And Chase ,yay finally more screen time and his own role again, not only as part of Chameron. But the end  , hope Chase stays on and sane (well more or less *g*...)the whole season, or there could be foul tomatos for tptb :p.
And he has to practise a little till he's tuned in again to his reading-House-gift (loved the pantomime *g*).

I think it was all around great team and House/Wilson chemistry.

Edit: And House line to his neighbour about it "just being a set back":guffaw: . It's nice to see he lost a little of his overly dark and crazy side ,but scenes like this oh House I wouldn't want you any other way .

Was a nice mix between the heavy ethics and the tyrants we know from everyday live (yeah Foreman you too).

Apropos Foreman it's really a difference to see his old co-ducklings know him and mostly be able to handle him even if he's a jerk , and the Foreteen dynamic where it all breaks apart....

Anyone know if there will be some Taub scenes in future epis ? (I'm mostly spoilerfree til now ^^ )

Wow, that was a great episode, mostly because of Chase.
Until now, I could take or leave his character. There seemed to have been little more development since the episode with his father sometime back. Now we see he has a dark side. I was expecting either Cameron or Foreman to be the one responsible. But, in the end, it was the former seminarian who violated both his Catholicism and his Hypocratic oath. Pretty close already, but if the writers keep doing things like this, House may become the best drama on tv!

Just got around to watching the episode.

    My three big reactions:

If the Fourteen break-up sticks, THANK GOODNESS IT'S OVER. I hated them as a couple. Mostly I think it's because I don't like Foreman. I can take 13 on her own.

OMG House is so freaking funny even when he's "a better person"!! The snark, the miming, the good deed wrapped up in a kidnapping... *sigh* I heart Hugh Laurie! And the writers too, yeah, them too. :)

WTF?!? Chase = assassin, didn't see that coming.

By the way, when House did the high pitched "AHEM" in the beginning, it totally reminded me of Dolores Umbridge from HP: Order of the Phoenix. She did that "AHEM" thing a lot.

To be honest, I'll be sad if they have broken Fourteen up for good, because I think that relationship was the only thing that made Foreman bearable.

Haven't seen the episode yet - watching it tonight or tomorrow.

okay this episode was FANTASTIC. Love the 80' Party scene.... I love Huddy way too much. Also love what he did for Wilson, except the drugging part. And felt really sorry for him when he saw that detective guy with Rachel. I think he'd be a great father once he'd learn how to handle his feelings and how to express them. Missed my show, so glad it's back.

HAD to comment. Wow after good, (reaaaaally) bad/annoying stuff and things I just stopped caring about - finally an epi (6x14 "private lives") I have sooo much love for :adore:

The POTW kept me interested and the way she was/wasn't influenced by it all was believable.

The B-Plots used to bring the theme across were hilarious with the right amount of seriousness (and we even got some continuity *happy dance*):

    - The speed dating : yeah they remembered Chase was sort of buddies with House/Wilson. Wilson should have learned to say just "Doctor", poor guy.
House being himself and Chase getting an update on reality "the pretty" (with his family background and behavior so far totally in chara).

    - POTW blogged about Foreman being condescending ....sorry Foreman sounding condescending :guffaw: (but after the visit of his brother I even started to like him again...*not thinking about stupid writers...happy thoughts*)

    - The Wilson "porn" ...yeah ok the banner was maybe a bit over the top ...but still OMG :guffaw::lol: (Nice seeing the old ducklings just rolling with it, while the new ducklings still get a bit more sidetracked by shouted conversations about porn :p)

    - Chase being so blunt about the "kids" discussion 'cause hey it was in the blog *g*

    - Wilson/Chase teaming up against House. hey they mentioned the leg pain.
Foreman/ Taub mocking House about the book and Chase just "....Hi :D ".
House searching for a connection with his father was a nice touch in regard to the plot and the House story line tidbits.
And House/Wilson friendship without screwing it up :)

    - Thirteen in combination with Chase/friendly interaction was working this way, but if they go down the relationship road :shifty::scream: ...hope NOT (both charas have enough to work through for themselves, they work with Foreman ...and just poor Chase NO)

A teeny weeny bit more Taub and I would have gone into shock over this epi :alienblush: (would have been too perfect *g*).
I really liked having Chase in the middle of the plot in such a nice way after the more heavy Debala "incident"....yeah he and House are simply my fav. charas and with the short hair even I must confess to being affected by "the pretty" :p

I'm not going into the deeper meanings of all the (online) human relationships/interactions this epi wanted to bring across (who watched it got them anyway), 'cause I'm still in the phase where I can't stop grinning and want to hug this epi ;)

What did everyone think of House last night? I think it is one of my favorite episodes this season by far. Loved when House passed out on the patient and asked if the fiancee was buying that too, lol! And just how cute is Chase? What a voice Jesse Spencer has! An all around good episode!

'House' scoop: Amber Tamblyn scrubs in!

As I teased previously, with Olivia Wilde off House for a while shooting Cowboys & Aliens, the Fox hit will be temporarily adding a new female doc to the roster at Princeton Plainsboro. And now I can tell you who she is: Amber Tamblyn!

The erstwhile Joan of Arcadia, I’m told, will appear in multiple episodes as a whip-smart med student House (Hugh Laurie) recruits for his diagnostic team — despite the fact that she isn’t yet 100 percent qualified to treat patients. And, of course, what I didn’t have to be told was that the youngster will have to find a way to adjust to her new mentor’s unique bedside manner.

    Amber Tamblyn Checks Into House

Amber Tamblyn has signed on for a multi-episode arc in the upcoming season of House, Fox announced Wednesday.

She arrives as a brilliant and aggressive new team member. There's one snag: House (Hugh Laurie) hires her even though she's still a medical student and not technically allowed to practice medicine yet.

Has Dr. House found his new pet now that Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) has taken off? Not likely. Tamblyn's character will feel conflicted with House's morally and ethically ambiguous ways of practicing medicine.

The 27-year-old actress — best known for her roles in the TV series Joan of Arcadia and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films — most recently starred on The Unusuals on ABC.

Season 7 of House debuts Monday, Sept. 20 at 8/7c on Fox.

Exclusive: Jennifer Grey makes a 'House' call

No one puts Baby in a corner…except Gregory House.

Dirty Dancing‘s Jennifer Grey will find herself in a no-win situation when she guest-stars on House this fall, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Grey—who begins work on the House set today—will play Abbey, the mother of an infant daughter who is displaying signs of a life-threatening illness. As House and Co. investigate her daughter’s developing symptoms, Abbey is faced with a treatment decision for her newborn that could affect not only her baby’s life but her own.

Her episode is scheduled to air in mid-October

Question: I know she's on CSI: NY now, but is there any chance Sela Ward will be returning to House this season? —Josh

Ausiello: No. That particular 'ship has sailed. This season's all about the Cuddster. "House and Cuddy alone in a room have had chemistry—that's never been in doubt," says exec producer Katie Jacobs. "Can it work in the real world? Can it work with them being coworkers? She's his boss, she has a kid, he's always breaking the rules... Can it work? I don't know, but that's the question [this season]. And she's not necessarily trying to change him. It's not like she goes, 'Oh well, I'll give it a try with House and hopefully he'll grow up.' He's never going to grow up. And she sort of thinks, 'I love him enough, maybe it could work. It's complicated.'"

Question: I'm kind of obsessed with your story about House's new opening title sequence. How exactly will it be different?

    Ausiello:
Let's ask Katie Jacobs, who's working on the revamp as we speak. "It's not all new," she says, "but I'm making a few changes because Jennifer [Morrison] is no longer in the main titles. And I am changing a little bit more than that, but I'm not changing so much that you're losing what you love about the opening titles." Jacobs also confirmed that a "few new names"—presumably Olivia Wilde and Peter Jacobson—have been added to the opening as well.

Holy crap! This shocked me! I don't watch this show all the time, but I did off and on. Just saw this on excite news (just gonna post the link cause if I copy/paste the words, I'll just have to take out weird coding since its not in the same font as talk csi):

Dr. House hangs up his stethoscope.

Yeah I read that yesterday and was really surprised. At the same time I think it's time to put the show to rest. It's just going around in circles lately. It's been a great show and there are few out there which can compare. I hope there's someway they can bring Cuddy and Cameron back for the finale.
