^ H says this line at the end of last night's episode, #502 'Going Under'. It was actually a rare bit of continuity for a change. Amazing how he didn't mention or refer to Raymond at all in Season 4. Yelina was mentioned twice in Season 4's 'Under Suspicion', and that was it. Maybe the tide is turning. ;)

Lucy, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was happy about the continuity in 5.02! Miami is great at drama and action, but as for continuity... not so much. XD

I really thought that 5.01, "Rio", really brought back all the chemistry between Horatio and Yelina. There were a couple of lines of dialog that really brought to the forefront how sincere and caring H feels towards her. I was especially drawn towards the final lines of dialog:

Yelina: I don't know what's left for us here. [in reference to Miami]
Horatio: There's family.

Afterwards, they exchanged a significant look. It seems H and Yelina do that a lot...

Steady on there Luce! You know what happens when we start getting ever-so-slightly hopeful? Just kidding. ;) 'Going Under' was okay and it did have a more familiar 'Miami of old' feel to it. If Yelina had been there, it could have even been very good! I also enjoyed the continuity of the final scene. It would be nice to know when we might see Yelina again though.

I also liked the continuity of past seasons in the final scene of 'Going Under,' it was sort of a big step in the right direction mentioning Raymond. At least they didn't make it so he dies in the season premiere and by the second episode the character no longer exists -- like I feared they might have done. Still though, I've got my feet planted on the cautious side.

as i know from some 'old' new S5E02 have to be 'if look can kill', but at the last moment miami writers decide to put 'going under' in second place this season...maybe they like us see the monster walk around and fix the story more better development (make continuation)...'Rio" was a lot rush and it was right for me again to have one flash back to the Real H...is all this is for good don`t know...or more possibly is we to be so disappoint after season premiere (and S4) and to start like everything that is not so soup... obviously when H have less screen time is a lot more good for his character :lol:

but one think keep me worry and that is Cori Millar spoiler for Y...he say they have make 10 epis till now from S5 and think Y to have some more epis in this tv show this year...did we have to wait more 8 epis (or more) so to see here again ?! :eek:

:lol: Oh, indeed so! I think though that we have been through so much with these two, that there is an general air of resignation about how things will develop. These little signs may or may not mean anything, but the hope will always be there. I think 'ever-so-slightly hopeful' reflects my state of mind perfectly. :)

As mentioned before Pusher, I think we are more likely to see Y later on in the season because of her new show. Until then, I will probably still watch Miami looking for signs. ;)

Luce, as much as I love your H/Y banner, your sig is oh so appropriate! Scary thing is, it is so very true and can be applied to so much. Inspired. :)

It is all about the little signs. The earlier seasons had these all the time, albeit very subtly. H/Y has always been about that. We have never needed neon lights and never will.

Aw, polina, believe me when I say you're not missing much. When there are future H/Y moments, we will be sure to provide as many screencaps as possible and all the important dialogue. :) I know it's not the same as seeing the episode and I do sympathize.

(I wrote a great post about Horatio's feelings and then my internet connection didn't like me and I had to re-start my pc :( so, I try again:)

wow, Horatio talks about his brother. He doesn't talk very often about him or his feelings. He's always there for his team or for other people and comforts them, but he rarely let other persons comfort them.

and see! Yelina is in town and the real H is there! :lol:

I've only been here once and I wanna say :this is a great site!I live in Belgium, so Polina you're not the only one who has to wait :( ! A week ago I was looking for some Y-H pics and I found one.
it's a picture from the episode Rio. They were holding hands. Nobody said something about holding hands. Did this really happen or not? If it did: please tell me what was happening at that moment and they were saying! It looked so sweet :D! I wanted to show the picture but the site where I found it won't open again. I've saved it on my hard disk but I don't know how to add it. If someone wants to see this picture, please tell me how to put it on this site.

btw ment_to_be welcome to H/Y thread :D for ur question...no in epi Rio don`t have scene with H/Y holding hands...this pic is promo one. we all here are a lot disappointed, coz this monsters lie to us agrrrr :mad:

Welcome ment_to_be. :) Yes, it was indeed very mean. We didn't trust the writers much anyway (after writing Yelina off the show), but this just added to the feeling of betrayal.

Great pic and wonderful scene! :D

One thing I found strange about 'Rio' was that H didn't even know where Yelina and Ray Jnr were going when they got in the cab at the end. He did ask what they were going to do, but one would have thought H would want to know where they are, especially after vowing to look after Ray Jnr. The writing never seems to quite fit together as it should. Of course, this kind of conversation may have taken place off screen, but it would have been nice to have heard it.
