Now if I only knew what a 'git' is. . .
A 'git' is a contemptible person.

Yes, I think that they will finally get together, but not anytime soon. ;) Welcome back btw. :D

Re: Horatio & Yelina #7 - "So Much Unresolved Love" (we quot

I think they will get together but maybe at the end of season 6 hopfully.

I watched NY yesterday and it was the episode where it had Mac interacting with his stepson. And I enjoyed it.

Got me all excited. Now I can't wait to see what H's son is like. But Reed (Mac's stepson) is a good kid, unlike H's. So I'm dying to find out what tptb has in store. And it inspired me to write a new fic, a one-shot about what I think it'll be like with H's son, and between H and Y. Well one can wish.

It's called 'Broken Inside'. Go check it out.

I think you guys are kinda harsh on H. He has his problems and I think Y has been very patient to wait for him, but she won't wait forever, and I hope H (or rather tptb) does her some justice (ermm didn't mean it in the naughty sense) soon. You know how some women just keep going back to a man although he's clearly not good for her, maybe Y's like that, hence her sticking it out with Ray and Stetler. Same with H, but he's not like the other two in that sense. Part of why I think H is afraid to act on his feelings for her is cos he's afraid to lose her, like he lost Ray or Marisol. As is echoed in my fic above. Perhaps in his strange 'Catcher in the Rye' complex, he's afraid acting on his love for her will cause something bad to happen to her? Just a thought.

EDIT: Had the time to update my current fic as well. Here's the link.

Ok now back to work for me *sigh*

Hrockz
Just finished reading 'Broken Inside'...wonderful job!!! I loved how H opened up to Yelina and how she wanted to help him. And I also enjoy reading your regular fic as well.

So normally I write poems in the fanpoems thread about my other main ship, but this time I wrote one on H/Y. I don't mind a little constructive criticism, so please feel free to tell me what you think.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #7 - "So Much Unresolved Love" (we quot

Is it a national holiday today cause with all these fic updates & poems :p *whoe*

Personally I don't think H doesn't make a move because he thinks she might die when she's together with him. I think it's still the good old barriers :)

Re: Horatio & Yelina #7 - "So Much Unresolved Love" (we quot

So a 'gwit' would be a contemptable fool. I like it! Short, succinct, to the point. A new word for my vocabulary!

Re: Horatio & Yelina #7 - "So Much Unresolved Love" (we quot

Thanks for answering the "git" question , Luce. Was going to get to it but alas real life etc.

drgnldy", "git" can range from "unpleasant" to "contemptible", so depends on the situation. "tiwt" is pretty standard all around. And now we have "gwit" which pretty much is the cat's miaow as descriptions go. :)

Wrt Miami's and H's downward spiral into giwtness, blame can only be laid at tptb's door as they are wholly responsible for written portrayal and development of the characters and storylines. It does appear that tptb are incapable of sustaining coherent thought where it pertains to storyline continuation or character development hence the reason H has, on the Lollipop Scale, sucked canal water for 2 seasons now.

Not H alone but the entire idea of Miami. What the hell is is it doing if as DC sez they haven't begun to do anythng yet? Where's it going? What's the bigger picture here? What's the plan? Do they have a plan? Or are Miami and H and in relation, Y, to meander along in incompetant fashion without wit and wither?

I'm wondering if Y "getting" with H is sufficient to redeem this post-"10-7" travesty. I used to think so, but the "Ooh-Aah" factor is getting a little worn.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #7 - "So Much Unresolved Love" (we quot

Well I already have said my opinion on the whole H/Y dance, I like it!

It's v bad weather here (well it's been like that for a month now..) so I figured I might as well use my time to make some H/Y banners. Feel free to use :)

No worries re the Git definition Tally! ;) Btw, fab new siggy. :D

I really don't think they do have a plan. Ann D once spoke of doing 3 x 3yr storyarcs, but you know my feelings about Ann's predictions currently - she seems to change her mind in an instant, so they are usually meaningless and ill-conceived.
Or are Miami and H and in relation, Y, to meander along in incompetant fashion without wit and wither?
It certainly seems that way. Seasons 4 and 5 have done so, so unless we see Yelina more regularly in conjunction with an improvement in writing standards, I guess we're stuck with meandering!

I thought I would mention this here, as those of you who don't post in the Miami Forum might appreciate seeing this. I love the Miami reviews in the Radio Times magazine in the UK, and Season 5 is due to air from next week. The TV Critic's opening line re Miami was:

"If you're trying to be cool, you're not cool. CSI Miami tries hard to be cool." My sentiments exactly, I thought to myself when I read that.

It's also mentioned how H "crouches moodily" next to Christ The Redeemer in Rio. I think I'm going to enjoy these reviews! :D

"I See Gwits..." ~pusher~

 u make my day with this choice of new siggy.

pls do not forgot say it with 'dark deep' voice like in 'The Sixth Sense' movie

ahh they have plan - to move on new planet and to keep diging till the whole picture didn`t become like one BIG Mariana Trench

don`t know why, but this only make me think for one m_t post re H

midnight_tiptoes said: I don't remember Horatio's office one bit. It's probably filled of pictures of himself and all the poor Hispanic women he's rescued, and a statuette of himself next to one of our savior Jesus Christ in which Jesus is actually kissing statuette Horatio's feet and statuette Horatio stands there with that asshole smirk on his face.

 too good to be truth

upsss sorry of this OT ;) but all this 'crime drama' in CSI Miami only make go in hysteric laugh

Re: Horatio & Yelina #7 - "So Much Unresolved Love" (we quot

One of the problems with tptb seems to be that they have allowed cast members to influence their writing. They should not confuse their roles like that. Writers write, actors act.

Here is a little pic I made just for fun. Don't know dimensions of banners or what might be done with it, so I'm just going to post it as a tiny pic!

Since you mention H's office, it reminded me of a question I've had: have we ever seen H's office? I only saw seasons 1-3, but I can't honestly remember ever seeing him in a little room with a desk that might be his office. Maybe he moves too fast to have time to park there. Just wondering if it's there and I missed it.

 That is spot on H in that scene! Are these reviews available online? If not, be a dear and please transcript for moi. How I WISH Jacob would do a Miami review.

pusher, you're more than welcome. I'm repaying the compliment, dear one. Thanks much for that zinger from m_t. It's brutally funny.

drgnlady, aside from DC's er, "contributions", who else in the Miami cast have had a hand in Miami's development? Unfortunately if the overalll premise is intrinsically squirly then a cast member's suggestion(s) may just be morphed into squrliness, Borg-style. The reverse holds true as well, I would imagine.

I wonder if Sofia, at any time, offered any suggestions to tptb to take her character and Y & H down a different ( er, more intelligent, more progressive, more connected, more developed, more in depth, more......) route.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #7 - "So Much Unresolved Love" (we quot

Could Sofia afford to do that, knowing how expendable she is?

OK, you got me. There is only one cast person I have heard of who feels free to make contributions to the material. I just didn't want to point a finger at a specific person, as I'm always bashing him, anyway.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #7 - "So Much Unresolved Love" (we quot

^There are just some people who a) shall remain nameless *coughDCcough* and b) should just stay the H (pardon the pun) away from the story arcs! And thank you for the lovely picture of the equally lovely shoes... ;)

Pusher that m_t quote is frakking hilarious! Thanks I needed that!

I might disappear for a while... I just recieved BSG s1 in the post! YEY! :D

Kermie, I just can't help it. Every time I see your avatar, I crack up! I've felt that way some days. . .
