I believe we all appreciate just how much Sofia has done with the two-bit part she's been given in Miami. Her fortitude is quite remarkable, all rotten double crossing tptb things considered.

As for Horatio v. 4.0 & 5.0, please give me strength! Post-"10-7", he's been written like a complete twit and a git. Ok. He's a gwit. Then to have DC & tptb carry on like Miami and H are on the brink of confering salvation to the masses, is remarkable for its piercing delusions of grandeur. Very Troggish. I keep hoping he's going to have an mega epiphany and come to his senses.

I find it deeply ironical that Miami which has women as leading tptb, are embarassingly clueless on how to write for and develop strong believable female characters whilst on BSG the two men in charge, have nurtured in stunning fashion a host of mesmerising women (and men) characters. It is such a revealation on so many levels, so much so that Miam's deficiencies, especially where it pertains to Horatio, Yelina and their storyline, is so incandescently glaring.

Popularity = Vulgarity (well, in some instances. This is one of 'em).

drgnldy, if BSG's not on your local listings, you may want to rent the DVD to give it a try. :)

I will check the library, which has many TV series on DVD. I already saw the first season of 'House' because this group recommended it. We don't have a TV in the UK, so it limits my accessibility to lots of things!

I keep being afraid of the opposite - that he's (DC) setting himself up for a crash-n-burn. We know he's capable, as he's done it before. I wonder whether the change in the H character in S4 had anything to do with what was going on in his personal life, 'cause I know he was having problems then. Now he says he's doing great and everything is wonderful. Kind of reminds me of Wile E. Coyote the nanosecond before he realizes he's just overrun the edge of the precipice.

Indeed. I would so love tptb to see some of the Miami reviews I have read in the UK over the past couple of seasons. They are really quite hysterical! I don't suppose they would care too much, as long as ratings are good. It seems the show's integrity left on that plane to Rio too.

I know this may sound kinda silly considering I'm the one that posted it ...but can someone tell me from which epi is the H/Y pic that I posted?...It didn't say in the web page I took it from and I can't find the epi...

Patricia that pic was a promo pic for 'Body Count'. For the scene when Y tend to H's wound.

Well 'Burned' wasn't that bad, so I think with Y in s6's premiere, we should hope that things would get better for Miami. I't still my fave show. House is good but doesn't hold my attention, it's abit too ridiculous since I work in a hospital and I know things don't work like that. Although I enjoy the occasional odd patient. Maybe it's fortunate I'm not in the law enforcement business. :lol:

Hope it's more than one episode too. But as I said, I'm optimistic about it. There'll be good things in s6 yet.

I was just thinking, about why it takes H so long to act on his feelings is because mainly of the barriers. And Y knows they're there and he knows she loves him and he loves her and they're like in denial. We asked some time ago whay Y sticks around him, I think it's cos she knows that he still loves her and she him, and perhaps after being through so mauch with Rick and Ray Sr, she knows that H is worth waiting for. I think he wouldn't treat her like the other two men treated her. Let's hope tptb deliver us the real H back and she'll have herself one heck of a man! ;)

ahh my fav english word Gwit, as long with DuWhat and delusion :lol: poor guys - DC, Ann D. and TPTB. i feel sad for them. long time ago they do deserve to take award like People's Choice back in 2003... but now awwww... i still can`t believe how this Troggish virus go in CSI Miami surver :rolleyes: if they need Antivirus software the best one (also free) is the fans opinion - there have update after every epi :lol:

Apparently, Corey Miller did find out about how irritated some fans were about the H "I've lost everything" line :rolleyes: and not just from e-mails. So, it would seem that occasionally, our views do register. Not sure if they make a blind bit of difference, but you never know.

'Gwit' is so descriptive, I love it! :D

ahhh the hope is still here we do lose one great writer like Steven Maeda, but Ildy Modrovich is still around. ;)

very well said. i want one day Yelina to 'mistreating' H the way he do it. btw i`m still in wait to see how H will explain to Yelina the whole Aerosol fiasco.

i just take one quick look at epi. 'Vengeance'. H keep aside Yelina from Bob case - of course he want to protect her. but for ours regret he do it before (re Meddy) and keep do to this even in S5 (epi. 'Rio'). so what about in S6 premiere Yelina to be the one how will keep 'aside' H till she don`t make all the work for his 'new' past. i don`t think that H would like this. they have to walk together, right ?! not one of them to be in blind land... sorry but this for me is not protection or trust... this is mistreating... puff, can`t explain it better..

aww shame on me, i don`t know what is going on with me today...i almost jump over S3 :eek:

Heylo all, been ages since i've been in here (I always lurk though lol) so, do you guys think it's realistic that H/Y will FINALLY get together anytime soon? Cuz god knows, they need too.

I watched Hurricane Anthony again last night, and how sweet is Horatio in that, so caring. Bless the man. :D
