I, like a lot of us here, am a little too optimistic about tptb FINALLY screwing their heads on right. bleh. It has been a long haul for all of us and we certainly could use a break from the current sludge that is Miami. So, and I think this is how it has to be, but if those-who-should-not-be-named (to borrow a Harry Potter phrasing) cannot right their wrongs this time -- then I don't believe I could come back again to watch new episodes. The wait has just been too long and its the last chance for them for me.
Having said that, I still adore the H/Y pairing and will still post in here concerning the two, and maybe even recommence my fic, but this chance is the last one I have for them. Its not something I ever wanted to say (or ever thought I would say) but they've gotten way too many 'Oh they'll come around eventually,' remarks out of me.
There is entertainment sources elsewhere on television that actually has substance.

'Extreme' is correct Ani! I seem to have lots of screencaps from that episode. Not quite sure why that is, except there are just some really great H/Y Kodak moments (as Tally would say) in it.

Miami has no substance to speak of these days. As always, I live in hope that it might improve, but I have been telling myself that for nearly two years now! We'll see how the end of this season goes and what TPTB have planned for Yelina next season. The show without Yelina holds little interest for me.

I like Miami in general, and H/Y are not the only people on the show I'm watching, so I'm still hooked to the show. Besides I'm not the only one in the family waiting for 'Rio' to grace my TV screen. Husband is waiting eargerly to watch H kick ass in Brazil. That's the only reason he watches to see H kick ass and be cool. As I posted in the H/DC thread that seems to be the sole reason most guys I know watch Miami.

I'm taking Ann D's silence about Y's return as a good thing. Maybe she wants to suprise us. That's a real big maybe. Or they're still discussing contract stuff with SM? I'm remaining hopeful, especially after Corey's email.

To me Horatio's emotions dwindled when Yelina left. Yeah he showed emotion in FF & Collision but you could tell it wasn't the same. They need to bring Yelina back soooooooo she can breath life back into Horatio. he's to much like a robot at the moment. They really have messed up the show. I was watching Spring Break & I was like why can't it be like that again? I can understand DC not wanting to keep H in the lab but..................that didn't mean the rest had to quit doing their job. They rush it through anymore. Oh I can't wait to see Yelina again. Maybe she'll breath life back into the show period. LOL

Lol i love youre thoughts on Horatio when Yelina left, Katpin31791. He is different when Yelina is around. Gosh, i never used to pay attention to H/Y stuff, i just thought they should be together . You have turned me into a full H/Y Shipper! still not obsessing like CaRWash though. heehee

Yup H is definately not the same without Y. He's less vulnerable, less emotional. I like the cool H but I really like wriggly H too. I need to see him fumble around Y, be human again. His nice little touching moments and looks he gives her is just so awesome and is sorely missed.
But whether or not when she returns she is able to breath life into the show depends largely on tptb and them doing her character justice.

Welcome to all the newbies and thanks as always for all these lovely pics.
I think Tally was referring to Ann's ongoing silence regarding Yelina since May 2005, not just regarding her return now. Many of us have found that very hard to stomach, in that it is so disrespectful to the fans.

You've got my number, Swany. Not just disrespectful to the fans but to Sofia first and foremost. The manner in which SM was so shockingly dismissed really cast AD and her miami tbtp in very poor light; they have yet to atone for this particular crime.
Miami has been far removed from my TV viewing for sometime now simply because it has degenerated into troglodyte-like levels for me BUT I continue to maintain a keen interest in the H/Y storyarc so it will be very good to have Y return in an episode by episode manner. I just hope for Sofia's sake that she will be afforded the professional respect and courtesy to which she is due.

Oh, I totally agree! The only thing worse than tptb turning H into this other person (which they have done since s4) would be for them to do the same to Yelina. I, personally, would rather her stay off of the show than for them to do that to her too.

Exactly so, I feel the same way too. 'Troglodyte-like levels', lol, that is inspired! :lol: Sadly, it is also so very true. I haven't really watched Miami for ages either, it's just so poor these days. However, I too feel our love of H/Y really does keep the interest going for us, and I'll keep everything crossed for the upcoming Ep #22 and continue to hope for good news regarding Season 6.
