bringirl2001
Where have I seen you before?
Basically anything from S2 has good scenes with H/Y. The scene in 'Blood Brothers' where H is talking about if things had been different was the first real indication to me that he had feelings for her (now whether he still had them at that point is still uncertain to me...anyone want to help me debunk this mystery?). There's also the scene in 'Dead Zone' where they're talking about treasure. Those are for starters.

I'm new to this thread too, but I used to multi-ship H/Y and DuCaine (hard to believe, I know ).

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

hummm it`s nice to read that new guys at last see H/Y canon ;) and pls can we ...err... not use others shipps name here, thanks - i`m a little to sensitive hehe

some of u ask for the best of the best H/Y epis.... well lest see.. all of S 1-3 is in this category. i (like the rest guys in this thread) see this so wonderfool and real chemestry - romantic deal in the first Yelinas epi 'Simple Man' :D she just come in and make one of my fav quotes to H: 'How long are we going to keep dancing around in circles?' - this i can call the best way to introduce H`s new... err.. love interesting :D the whole H/Y relationship is so dynamic and complex. most i love the part - will they, won`t thay...everything is in the eyes of this two great characters. we can see how much they care for each others, what respect they have and the tension is always on the sceen when Yelina is near H :) (sometimes i have feeling that they almost will jump one each other ) for my regret H S 4-5 is not my fav, without his around family him H is not the same - careing, protectiv, blushing real man that we all love and miss now. hope after epi 22 S5 we again to see MY Real H  Yelina always can put on day light the best parts on H character. and in the end here little list with some of my fav H/Y epis:

#117 Simple Man - we see Yelina for the fist time :D in the end (it`s seems like) H at last is ready to talk for his bro and stop hide from Y

#201 Blood Brothers

#206 Hurricane Anthony - two so so sweet moment. in the bgining Y have little kitty in her hands (the cat look like H ) and in the end H invite his self to Yelinas house ... love his quotes ..: "hummm...ummmm...errr "

#208 Big Brother - hummm a lot new things we know for Ray Sn...and H again try to protect Y and Ray Jn. from the truth

#217 Money for Nothing - Y misunderstood the whole Suzzy/Madiosn story and tell H that can`t trust him any more ...

#220 The Oath - Yelina go out with Stetler, coz hi is simple... awwww

#302 Pro Per - a heart breaking moment - H see that Yelina live with Stetler....poor H

#307 Crime Wave - Yelina have blue eyes..hummm... did H here make the best quote ever - to Rick - 'if u touch her again i`ll kill u.' Go H

#316 Nothing To Lose - at last H tell all the truth about Suzzi/Madison. and we have this great holding hands scene - a sense of belonging

#323 Whacked - Yelina kick Stetler out of her house YAY !! and H was there to help

#324 10-7 - H let Yelina go to Brazil :(

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

That was a great summary Pusher and welcome more newbies to our ship. Enjoy your stay and you'll see why H/Y are the true ship, heck they're for real, a canon, like Luce would say. Might I add you can find a good summary of H/Y moments on youtube put up by a certain talented person who gave you the summary on this thread. ;)

My fave H/Y momnets can be found in 'Hurricane Anthony', H trying to invite himself to her house that was hilarious and touching. And 'Whacked', hence my signature quote. Y's admission of needing H, to his face.

You just have to watch the H/Y scenes and the emotions played out between them, especially in the eyes and their expressions. Hence there's no explaining why I think H/Y can "make it", whtever is played out between them is so real and so filled with tension, and chemistry that you'll believe everything they feel. It just lights up and sizzles the TV screen.

silkthanks for the compliment? Reason I started writing is mainly cos there's a distinct lack of H/Y fics around and I really missed Y's presence in s4 and had to endure seeing H with someone else he obviously wasn't made for and had no chemistry with. I got fed up got off my butt and started writing. I like writing anyway.

Let's hope our patience will be rewarded with a couple of good scenes.
I certainly hope so.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

Welcome to our H/Y home Bringirl2001 and EyeHeartH. :D

Pusher has already provided a great summary naming all the key episodes. I would also add a few more to that list, simply because there are other H/Y moments in these episodes that really highlight their feelings for one another and the closeness between them:

Season 1

Dispo Day
Double Cap
Spring Break
Body Count (we get hand touching!)

Season 2

Dead Zone (as EyeHeartH mentioned)

Season 3

Murder In A Flash

So, these are all in addition to the episodes mentiond by Pusher. ;)

The H/Y 'relationship' is also a storyarc that the shows' writers and producers have supported and advocated. Ann Donahue, Liz Devine, Corey Miller and Ildy Modrovich have all made comments regarding Horatio and Yelinas' feelings for one another (in interviews, audio commentaries and e-mails).

Even though Yelina was temporarily written off the show at the end of Season 3 (they wanted to try a different approach and see what H was like without Yelina, according to Ann D ), and many of us felt very let down, it seems that TPTB do want her back. Corey Miller has said recently that "we most definitely haven't closed the door on that (H/Y) relationship." Sometimes, we take these things with a pinch of salt (these writers cannot always be trusted), but the hope is still there, that's for sure. :)

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

Picture is from Dead Zone. Just received the book heat wave, can't wait to read it. Seems that there's something in it about the early H/Y relationship!

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

 I'm in shock. Kit, the pic isn't from 'Dead Zone'!

I meant to say earlier that I really liked your summary of why you like H/Y Hrockz. :)

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

YOUR shocked? :p

The picture is from Big Brother? I first thought it was the moment where Yelina tells H he's a bombexpert. But actually it's the moment where H is holding the bloody hankerchief and she asks if he's okay etc..

I'm not gonna start my summary of why I like H/Y, it's just too large

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

You shouldn't be so shocked Luce. My first thought when I saw the pic was the same as Kit, the bomb expert part.

But I think Kit got it right the second time, about the bloody hanky. I love how Y looks at H, and how she trusts H. Of course we know all that changed when she thought Madison was H's.

I certainly don't like the H without Y. It's just not him, and I miss those wriggly moments he has around her, like in your picLuce.
I hope we'll see it again soon.

There certainly still is hope in my opinion for H/Y. If tptb are for them we have alot of hope :D

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

I think Lucy's shocked because it's the first time I guessed a H/Y picture wrong haha.

Yeah we definately need those wringly moments again. If we get those in E22 I'm going to squeeeee so hard. Who's with me? :p

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

Who's with me?
*raises hand and jumps up and down* Me, me!

Looking forward to them wriggly moments.

Wnate to raise what was discussed on the spoiler thread, about the possibility of H being married to this prosecutor in NY, before Marisol.

Like I said there it's highly unlikely. Yelina would know. If H were married before I think he would still be friends with the ex, cos he's such a nice guy. I think Y would also feel less betrayed about thinking Madison was H's if H had an ex. Although if H were really married before, and the ex re-appears, it might throw a spanner into the H/Y works but I seriously doubt if he were married before.

'Addiction' is playing on my TV now and I wanted to say something that has always struck me about the scene in the beginning when H is talking briefly to Y.
Y: What's up?
H: A man's wife is killed and he goes back to work?

Ok didn't H do that too? With Marisol?! Hmm maybe H didn't feel that strongly for Marisol, but we know that. If it were Y, as much as H would like to catch the shooter/killer we know he wouldn't leave Y's side. Not that I want Y to die, she'd better not die....

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

I think Lucy's shocked because it's the first time I guessed a H/Y picture wrong haha.
Correct - that is why I was shocked. ;) The picture is indeed from Big Brother. :D

Re H's ex-wife, it is a subject definitely referred to by Ann Donahue (in the summer of 2005) when she was talking about what we might see in Season 4. She mentioned the idea of H having an ex-wife who was a Prosecutor in New York. Nothing ever materialized on the show about this (yet, and possibly won't ever), but Ann has considered it.

I suppose it is possible that H married (and divorced) when he was very young, before he even met Yelina.

Re: Horatio & Yelina #6 - A Sense of Belonging - So Say We A

really? Well, he does look rather um, mature, so he probably was married once before the show started, I mean, hes older than Mac, right? and Mac had a wife. I'll squee with you, am a big squee er here.
