Great installment to your fic Hummer. I think you have a definite talent for this! It's so true about the sadness in Horatio's eyes that he always carries with him. :(

My first H/Y encounter was also 'Hurricane Anthony'. That final scene just blew me away. That is my all time fave H/Y scene. I had seen some of Season 1, but not the Yelina episodes. So, I went back and watched the show from the beginning. There is no doubt that my liking of CSIM had so much to do with the H/Y character dynamic, as much as I like DC.

I'm sorry but I just... started to hate when it was over used.

Anyways, I think I should visit that thread sometimes.

I had other thought too when I came to this thread but it went away...

and for Y therad. i post here just because there in Miami forum noone go to Y place...but now i try to remeber (re-wawatch) all S1 and especially Y moment and soo will start to post there to :) it coming time to start again Y discussion :D i`m so tired of H and whant to change subject again to H/Y presence..

You know, it's just plain annoying... seening those season 3 episodes (like Nothing to Lose last Sunday) and knowing that she won't be there next season. I really really liked her. Y I mean. :p

I had fun when explained to my mom all this H-Y-Suzie-Madison-Ray thing while watching Nothing to Lose :lol:

Mom: who's that?
Me: Well, it's Suzie. See, H's bro scrwed Suzie while he was undercover cop and that kid is actually H's bro, Ray's, kid. But then... Yelina thinks kid belongs to H and is pissed off because she really likes H. And Y used to be married to Ray.
Mom: You couldn't be any more confusing
 
Thanks, Lucy and Pusher for the comments re my fic. It’s good that I can write something you people can enjoy. :) I just hope I can keep up the steam to do it (what with having a husband and a newborn son). Lately I’ve been working on it whenever I get that little time alone :lol:.

Anyway, I definitely think the ‘appreciation’ part should definitely be left out for the next Yelina thread. Maybe we can discuss this point over in that thread and maybe later a poll…either way, we definitely need to get to thread #2. Yelina is too essential to the show to have just one thread. :)

Ducky, that confuses me and I understand it at the same time. Weird, huh? :lol:

Yes, we can all safely agree that Goosey's explanations can be as convoluted as a camel's insides but that's what makes it fun! Kinda like Mr Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland. Hee. :p

Hey, your fic's coming along brilliantly. There's a lot of good to be said for minimal dialogue and setting up of a scene. :)
 
Oooh, yes, I remember Mr Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland! I can see the similarities. :D

I think we just might be onto 'Body Count' now in our tribute. I will start with a little teaser, but there's more to come.....

'Body Count' and this hands contact was done very well. they too need more physical touch and eyes unsaid feeling ...:) namely this i like most in H/Y moments :D

BTW, that "I wanna hold your hand" bit is 2-way street. Pretty nifty how his tough guy approach to not stemming the bleeding evoked the er, appropriate response from Y. Sneaky Horatio.
