But please keep in mind not to quote the images, it uses up valuable bandwidth, so just remove the img-tags when you feel the need to quote, OK?

Sure

When you're answering somebody elses post and you want to quote/cite him or her, you click on the "Quote"-button, right?
OK, nothing wrong so far - but when this person posted a picture, and you don't change the code (by removing the img-tags), this picture will also be shown, and THIS uses up the bandwidth.

Just look two posts above where you quoted DJ. In the dark blue box you can now see the urls (how it should be), before I edited that, the icons DJ posted where shown as pictures - that's a no-no.
Nevertheless you're also right with posting too large pictures as urls or as thumbnails like you always did before completely right.
For example that new collage you've posted is a big too large (it looks awesome btw ), here I have to ask you to use the url (or the thumbnail)
