Grade 'Grand Murder At Central Station'

I voted B+. It was okay until the last scene. Aiden just didn't seem to care at all about the fact that she was being fired (I can't do this anymore?) and the writing was kinda wonky.

And if she "couldn't do this anymore," why didn't she just quit? I understand that Vanessa wanted out, but it seemed really rushed.

To be honest, I was less than impressed. The storylines weren't that great, and there was little build-up to Aiden's firing. That's not to say that there weren't good points, it just was a little...flat.

And I do agree that there is little chemistry between Stella and Frankie the sculptor. He is cute, but I just can't see it.

Okay, I gave it an A-

The cases weren't bad; interesting enough but nothing that jumped off the screen and said "WOW".

It got the A for the humor, I must admit. I found myself laughing several times and not just the same characters either. Everyone had a good one.

The Aiden thing was handled well, I thought. She admitted that she had reservations and left, tho fired, with some measure of self-respect. She didn't do it, but admitted that if it happened again, she wasn't sure if she'd be able to be objective. And Mac's right in what he said. If the courts don't believe the evidence coming from the lab, everything's compromised.

Good ep.

Danny obviously hasn't met me, because if he did he would cuddle ;) or perhaps end up in a doggie pile???

I don't know about Stella with the sculptor dude, I can't see them together.

Aiden's last episode tonight. She took being fired pretty well, I was surprised about that. I was impressed with Mac's speech though, I like Mac.

I'm glad Stella went in to check on Mac at the end. You could always tell Aiden was Mac's favorite. I bet that had to hurt him, to have to fire her like that.

I don't mean this as a diss or anything, but did anyone get the feeling Carmine was way off tonight? He got some good lines, but the delivery was just... meh. He totally wasn't in the moment.

I'm all about making Lindsay my girl, but if she's gonna start off kicking ass like that... then sorry, but no. Don't do that. It's not impressive, it's annoying.

A- cause Aiden left. "thank you JLO" hahah funny Hawkes. And Viagra?? LMAO Danny oh and hear Danny's comment to that dective when he brought in the vic's purse ...hahah cute. Danny looked SO HOT and so did that new lab guy Zack I think and Flack to...god i need a life and a guy.
kaia :D

Speaking of Zack, what's up with his clothes and hair? He looked like a surfer who got lost somewhere in the 80s.

All these -ck people confuse me. Mack, Flack, Zack... Dear Writers, buy a baby names book. Love, me.

Damn, I really wanted Mac to do a Donald Trump impersonation at the end, ala Conan O'Brien.

Okay, Hawkes and J. Lo?? HAHAHAHA. But he was hot when he was talking to the girl with the teddy bear. He needs to have kids. With me.

I think Mac handled the Aiden-situation pretty well. He stayed professional about it. Disappointed!Mac is a pleasure to watch IMO; gives Gary a chance to show off with just the expressions on his face.

SculptureGuy needs to go. Now.

The plotlines were less than intriguing, but it was a relatively well-rounded, solid ep. Not as good as last week's, but still decent.

I just want to know who ended up dressing Danny again towards the end of the show. In the beginning he was damn sexy with his tight polo shirt that showed off his finely worked body ( I need a life, I know) and then he went back to the cheap suit jacket. What's up with that? He was still hot, but he's always hot.

I thought it was a pretty decent episode. The cases were alright, but didn't do a whole lot for me. The actors really carried this episode, and made it much better.

Mac was pissy most of the episode. Which is a good thing, as far as I am concerned. I love me some pissy Mac.

Stella was her usual witty self. But the whole sculptor thing, I can't see it. As Midnight pointed out, there was just no chemistry there. He's cute though, I have to give her props on her taste in men. But...nah, they are not right for each other.

Danny brought out the attitude, as usual. Although I had to laugh at him during the cuddle party. I mean, damn man, pay attention to the investigation. All he could do was watch the cuddle action. "I don't cuddle." *sighs* Danny, Danny, Danny....what are we going to do with you? He's slipping, and in danger of loosing his #1 position with me. I like a man that knows how to cuddle.

Flack....mmmmmm. The snark was in full effect. So much snark, for so little screen time. The man seriously needs more screen time. I nearly peed my pants over the "C...Cat" comment. And telling thet last woman she had a lot to smile about. Cold, man. But so superbly Flack.

Hawkes is moving up my list. I was in love with him all episode. From the moment he asked the little girl if she had lost the teddy bear. The man is so damn sweet. He could give Danny a run for my #1 position. I am with Midnight on this one. I want to marry Hawkes. :D

As for Aiden, I was a bit disappointed. The whole firing seemed somewhat anticlimatic to me. I almost wish they hadn't shown the "You're fired" in last weeks preview. I thought it took a way a lot of the moment's impact. And the whole thing about not wanting to do this anymore....Then quit. Don't sit around and wait to be fired.

All in all, it was pretty good. Mostly due to the humor, the Flack snark, and the pissy Mac. Oh, and my new future ex-husband, Hawkes.

Which brings up all kinda of funny images of Danny walking around his apartment blindfolded, knocking everything to the floor.

Alas, it never helped him crack the case. But I bet he learned a valuable lesson about blindness.

Speaking of PSAs, I was expecting Vanessa Ferlito to show up at the end of the episode, "Hi, I'm Vanessa Ferlito. We had a lot of fun tonight, but there's nothing funny about plastic surgery mishaps. Take it from me, you CAN learn to love yourself just the way you look."

Flack was still my favorite thing about tonight. Damn, that boy needs more screen time. When he saw the lady with the markings all over her face and he jumped I nearly peed a ltitle.

I'm glad Stella went in to check on Mac at the end. You could always tell Aiden was Mac's favorite. I bet that had to hurt him.

Me too. The firing scene was so flat, mostly on Aiden's part. She went from "Mac this place is so important." to "I'm not sure if I can take it anymore" in 10 seconds flat, with very little change in emotion. But I'm glad Stella went in to check on Mac. It shows what a good bond they have. Much better than sculptersteve, or whatever.

I'm all about making Lindsay my girl, but if she's gonna start off kicking ass like that... then sorry, but no. Don't do that. It's not impressive, it's annoying.

Nothing seems more insulting to loyal viewers than adding a new character that's better than all the original characters you know and love. As long as she doesn't turn into a Seven...

I don't know if I can give this an objective grade -- that last scene between Mac and Stella made the episode for me. God, I'm such a geek
