Globetrotting without going anywhere..

A hello from southern-germany. I don´t want to post my city-name, if that´s okay.

In southern germany wheather is some degrees warmer than in the rest of germany. That´s quite comfortable.

My city is a popular university-town. So we´ve got many cosy student-pubs. Apart from pubs downtown we also have numerous old buildings, which my mother adores.

At last not to forget: Our ambitious football-club in bundesliga two.

I`m from Belgrade, capital of Serbia. If you like night life, this is your town.

Belgrade is very old. It`s been demolished and rebuilt through history a lot, so you have parts that are few centuries old.

speed_cochrane, when you go to Romania, come to Serbia, it`s next to it.

Google it, you`ll like it.

I live in New Zealand, a small country nearish (2000 km) away from Australia. I live in Auckland, it's New Zealands largest city with a population of 1.3 million.

^This is Aucklands CBD.

Auckland has a lot of dormant volcanoes, Mt Wellington, Mt Eden, Rangitoto, Mt Mangere to name a few,

Here is a link to Aucklands volcanic field

Auckland is surrounded by water and many people do water sports, we have won the Amercias cup quite a few times, and its uncommon to see no boats out on the water around the CBD.

New Zealand has two main islands, the North Island and the South Island. A majority of the population lives in the North Island, NZ's capital is Wellington situated at the bottom of the North Island, Wellington is quite arty compared to Auckland. Of course NZ had Lord of the Rings filmed here! :) They use this for lots of overpriced tourism things all over the country.

Anyway NZ is a cool country to live in. Worth coming for a holiday, in summer or winter.

I live in Belgium, Ghent to be precise.
It's a city with loads of history, hence the tons of churches, castles etc.
This is a pic with 'the three towers' of Ghent: St-Nicholas Church, The Belfort and St-Bavo Cathedral.

And although it looks like an ancient city, Ghent is one of the biggest university cities of Belgium. Thousands and thousands of students make sure that you won't forget that this city is alive and kicking. Concerts, parties or clubs, you name it, you got it. But most of the time, we students prefer to relax near the water at the Graslei (in the summer, that is ;) )

Some more pics:

Gravensteen, the ancient castle (12th century)
The same Graslei, but during the (in)famous Gentse Feesten, a festival through the whole city, lasting 10 days.

God, I love my town

Any way I live in the United States in California in Southern California or as everyone calls it So-Cal.I live in a small city called Perris.I use to say how much I hated the city but when I went out and took the pictures I realized just how amazing my city is.The historical part of Perris which I will get pictures to post soon is being torn down by the governor I guess,I'll have to work fast to get them though.I live 2 hours give or take for traffic from every major county/city in So-Cal.My city is a part of Riverside county and the main City would be Riverside. My pictures unfortunately came out a bit unclear but you can see most of everything.

This would be one of the most biggest yet mysterious house in the city.I think they call it Stone castle. It said that it's haunted by the first owners of the mansion but it is part of an industrial supplies company now.

These two are a few shots from one of the two fire stations in Perris.

Our fire fighters are pretty quick to respond Even if you don't call them they are right there either driving by or eating lunch close by.

This one is of good ol city Hall. It's right next to the city gymnasium. The City hall has been renovated so many times it's insane.

The next to are of the The main high school.I spent a few years there before I switched to a different school. My Favorite thing is to run around the track for a few laps and.

The last one is of one of my favorite buildings in the city. The oldest church in the city as well. The way it's designed reminds me of something out of Notre Dome

The city has a lot of history dating back to the 1800's.The city is named in honor of Fred T. Perris, chief engineer of the California Southern Railroad. We also have our airport.More of a sky diving haven thats for sure The sky diving gave us the name "the skydiving capital of America",And are empty land with hills and rocks is perfect for the love of biking that I have.
