Hey all! Just dropping by to say that I loooooved them in Way To Go. And I loved Sofia there. Awesome performance :D I agree, chemistry is definitely 100% ;) I also like it whenever Sofia just barges in Gil's office like she belongs there LOL. Anyways, I like the fact that she came to him first to talk about Ellie.

Arturtle love the picture you posted. Nice art work you added in the thing Gil is holding up, caught my eyes first thing. Got a giggle out of me. Sofia looks so mischievous. These two could get into so much trouble (fun of course). Since Sofia is into history she could teach Gil a thing or two about Civil War. Then he can teach her about the mating habits of "ladybugs" :devil:.

*tip-toes back in* Love the pics. The pair are so cute together. I'm with Cofi_Shot about her barging into his office; those scenes are always great. I'm taking it back a bit, but I really loved how she came to him in ABRTI. Shows just how deep their relationship goes. She trusts him, he understands her. They mesh.
 
I agree alwayswrite05 that ABRTI2 showed the trust Sofia bestowed in Gil.

This talk made me think of No Humans Involved when Sofia goes into Gils office at the end and sits on his desk. That also goes to show there is a comfort between them. In that particular scene you could see the glow on both their faces. Ah, memories are a wonderful thing.

Here is a scene (compliments of Arturtle)from Way To Go where she confronts Gil about Ellie. Again Sofia always goes above and beyond to look out for people she cares for in her life.
 
*BUMP* Sorry I am just getting around to making a post. I had a busy week and weekend.


I am still reviewing 6th season in my head. Thinking of all my favorite moments. Then I got to thinking about Brass being shot. Made me think of Bodies In Motion. I still say Brass had his own plans as to who he wanted to fix his buddy up with. He has always had that pull for Sofia to be right in Gil's face. I hear Brass's words "Suprise!" ring in my head when Gil realizes Sofia is back as a Detective. You know Brass purposely strolled Gil down the hall toward that interview room cause he knew Sofia was in there working. That smile Sofia flashed at Gil announcing she was back said it all for me. I think Gil was kicking himself at that moment.

Oh that makes sense. I think Brass knew Gil had a thing for Sofia and was curious to see how Gil will react.

And of course he conveniently left the two alone. :D
 
Hey guys, just wanted to drop by and say Hi. Been traveling up and down I35 and pretty worn out. I know I had mentioned this somewhere else, but I will agree with LSB with the Bodies scene. If you go back and watch with the icky-occ-twist then Gil comes off as looking very shocked to see Sofia again. Him testing the waters of she WON"T miss anything in the lab - comes back and bites him in the butt. Her answer of SOMETHINGS plainly states to him that he has a second chance with her and as she walks away he STILL can't stop himself from checking out her womanly figure with the plain expression of Damn, I blew it again, shooooooot.

Question - could his attraction to Sofia be a reason why he kept his distance (since he hands out assignments, he would know up front what detective is working which cases) this past season to quell any temptation to be with her? :devil: Food for thought.

Very interesting, Tazzer. You got the wheels turning in my brain. I think its a very realistic idea that he distanced himself from Sofia to stop temptations. If you look at ABRTI2 (from the occ twisted finale point of view) it now makes sense why he had the shocked expression on his face. He knew he was caught red handed with Sofia. Its apparant he wanted to comfort her and be a friend for her. Makes sense why he hesitated to answer the call when she phoned him after the shooting. I mean having a second chance put in front of you (like Taz mentioned in the above post)seems to me like something he could be struggling with in his mind.



Here is the part I adore about Sofia though, does this stop her? Hell no! We see her pop up in his office again in "Up In Smoke". Then she is pushing the envelope with him in "Way To Go". Both times she has been in his office they have always had more to discuss than time allowed. Seems to me, Gil is trying to keep his back covered.

Oh and must mention the fact that in "Time Of Your Death" when Gil and Cath and Sofia go to the casino to question a suspect, where do we find Gil? Right smack next to Sofia. Close enough that when he went to put his case on the table, Sofia had to shift to keep him from hitting her. Hmmmmm...gotta be a reason he wants to be close to this woman don't ya think?

Ya know alot of men will settle for a woman because she is easy to obtain, then fantasize while they are with someone else about the woman they really want. Just a thought. :p
 
Let me just say after reading 13 pages of true gofia love, I'm thinking that I REALLY REALLY need to be associated with this thread. holy...

So, anyway...it's great to finally find a place to chat up my CSI obsessions. I'll be floating around a couple of places to *waves* hi all. much love to the fellow CSI minions.

what i find intruiging about them? are you trying to give my fingers a life exercise? well. for starters and all, i find that WHEN they get NAKED, which they will, at least in my mind they will - insert various dirty images here - *smiles* it will be by far the best sights my eyes have ever had the privilege to see....not to mention only that....

so when i rule the world. they'll get naked. together. and i'll be happy for the rest of eternity giggling like a school girl. WHAT more reasoning do you need than that.

sometimes yes, i do wonder why my brain is able to function at all. though, i hope you agree it does have a rather comprehensive scale of good images. LOL ;)

BUT for real though, in my mind they're extremely compatible in so many different departments, and yet so diverse it's not funny. practically though, i would be happy with either ship of sofia/gris or lady/gris but i believe my heart is true with the gofia. i'm at a loss for words as to why but, they entertain me far past how much they're suppose to so, we'll stick with that :)

a note to the writers. they should just. get. naked. i should really write a book or something.....*sighs* if only if only

oh yes and a tad bit of side OT: Tazzer I've stumbled upon several of your fantastic fics and let me just say with my whole heart, I LOVE YOU. enough said.

Okay, I'll agree 110% - two people that look hot together, have hot chemistry together, and have hot qualities that bring out the other persons hot qualities is so very HOT that hell yes they should be a couple to get naked and grow old together.

And when I'm Queen of the world Gilbert & Sofia will be together solving crimes by night and getting naked and making love by day - so it is said, so let it be written, so let it be done.
