Well, I don't think he meant that she was more a spanking buddy than a soul mate.

I mean, firstly look at the context of the article - they were there to discuss the romance between him and another character, so it wouldn't make a lot of sense to say, "But Lady Heather is who he'd rather be with - this girl is not the true love of his life"

I think that it was meant to be a cheeky response.

Honestly, I've never quite understood this sense (and I'm not saying that that's what you meant, hhunter - just what I've gleaned from other posts in the past) that Grissom has to be in love with only one woman.

Or even flirt with or like only one woman.

Heather certainly seemed to be the lust of his life at any rate. lol.

 

I think so too, that his response was supposed to be humorous
but it does get you thinking on what his true feelings for her were.
And we find out that they (Gris and Heather) were supposed to kiss... and they cut it out... that does make me go ... HHHMM

Not to rag on the OC, but given how badly the show has been doing this year, the chances that Fox would blame, say, Grey's Anatomy rather than CSI are rather high (lol), and I think the possibility of them lending out Melinda would probably be rather high.

While I was hesitant about Pirates the first time around, I went back and watched it and I actually enjoyed it much more.

But yeah - there's no way they can't finish the grandbaby storyline.

Nah - I think part of it was, with Pirates that there were a LOT of rumors about what would happen (the original ending had to be re-written because they ran out of time - and I was more worried about what that ending would change about Grissom than anything else).

and it did touch on some pretty weird stuff, not unusual for CSI though but there is a whole lot left to unravel between Gris and Lady Heather
