You know what I don't get? Why, looking back over the years, would they give us the G/C moments they have (and some of the moments have made you think...or at least made me think, When did I miss these two getting together as a couple?) if they weren't going to do something about it? I mean do they expect us to believe that their relationship can't or won't go past being just friends? If they weren't eventually going to put G/C together why have some of the scenes they've had? I'm sorry I'm just an optimistic person here. I'm trying to look on the bright side. I still think they could be put together and dare I say will?...yeah I say will. Again, all this is just my opinion and you guys may agree/disagree. Hopefully, the rest of this season will be a good turning point for G/C...providing TPTB allow it.

THANK. YOU. This is why I was so shocked when I found out they didn't get together, just kinda didn't make sense to me at all. I've always wondered that too. Even Marg says that in the early seasons people always used to ask her about 'Grissom & Catherine', so I dunno why they didn't run with it. Lol, I'm still bitter. I very much doubt they'll be put together as anything more than friends, but even that might be a stretch nowadays lol.

I still haven't watched any of season 8 and from what people say it ain't all that good. I miss watching it but meh, you get over it lol.

Haha I totally agree with you. I think that we should atleast get some friendly scenes between Cath and Gil and anything else will be an added bonus.

^Agreed. I'd settle for some friendly scenes right now. I mean anything..I'll take anything! It just gets frustrating at times. God knows if they tried it, it'd be suprising how much people would back G/C up. Sometimes I just wish there was something we could do about it lol.

I'm glad there's a few that agree with how I feel. I knew deep down I wasn't the only one though.

It just kinda blags my head how the writers can't see what they've done! Just look back at S1 and it's insane to see how much things have changed, and like we said, not just with G/C, Grissom with the guys too. Meh, fat meh.

And yeah, I'm the same, I'll take anything right about now, even a lil chat on the phone, just aslong as they speak lol. And it is very very frustrating. Grrr! *shakes angry stick*

^ Awww, I hope you get some inspiration soon, I love fics. I just watch a season 5 ep, (can't remember the name of it) but it was the ep when Cath became Swing Supervisor and Gil came around to visit her and gave her his fetal pig, they just sat and chatted and it was such a cute scene, I'm really hoping we will get some more like this soon. *Fingers Crossed*

Ooh, that was a good ep. What was it, No Humans Involved? I thought the gesture was very cute, Gil giving Cath his fetal pig like that. He wouldn't give Miss Piggy to just anyone!

Anne, I think that Gil and Cath are hiding from the writers for fear of what they'll do to what's left of their relationship on the show. I would if I were either of them.

I agree with Purejoylove. If I were Gil and Cath, I would hide too.

What really frustrates me is that TPTB have wrecked an amazing friendship and have stiffled the amazing chemistry that Billy and Marg have brought to their characters.

Wasn't it ITB where Catherine askes Gil how long they've known each other and Gil replies with "In days, months, or years?"

I highly doubt that either Gil or Catherine would let that great friendship fall away after 20-some years in the way that the writers have depicted in the last couple of seasons. But unfourtuneately the amazingness of Purjoy (and the team dynamics) has been neglected, which I find to be a waste of all of the actor's great talents.

I don't know if my optimism is due to my naivete. I just can't give up on this show just yet. Some shippers have seemed to leave the entire deal and just stay aloof. I don't know if I can quite bring myself to do that about CSI.

I think the only thing left for me to do for PureJoy (other than sending more annoying email letters to the writers) is pray. And pray hard. lol

^ I'm not giving up on the show yet, but if the show heads in the direction I think it's going, I'm done.

But in the event that we somehow do get purejoy moments in the future eps, I may have to start believing in a higher power.

Hey I'm with you! I'm not giving up just yet either. I've been pulling for Purejoy too long to quit now. I'm still on board for these two all the way and prayer has always worked for me so that's not a bad thing to do.
