Yeah, didn't he say something about it was up to the producers too about when he would leave? I could see him and Marg going at the same time, but that all depends on what kind of contract she has. If they have to go, it would be nice to see them ride off into the sunset together...G/C that is. Of course if it happens I'll probably cry.

On a lighter note...it's good to see that the strike may be ending soon. Hopefully we'll get some good Purejoy moments to remember in this season after all. Then we can get back to Guttersville :devil:...although I don't think some of us have ever left. :lol:

actually, now that the gsr ting is out in the open it seems to me like there are more grillows moments. or at least im hoping im not imagining it. like when cath asked gil, " do i know how to turn you on or what?"
when they in his office and they talking about cath maybe nhot caring if she loses her job [case of the cross dresing carp], and when she and gil had that look in go to hell. that was hectically emotional.

I really hope that the writers have eventually realised what the fans want... (Well some of them...) And maybe they will realise that G/C are meant to be together... Lets hope they have got the idea and we get some G/C scenes before Billy leaves...

^ I love the moments you mentioned, but I think those are probably the only C/G moments we have gotten in season 8 so far. Because there are so few of them, each one of them is memorable to us. If go back and watch seasons 1 to 6 again, you'll be surprised by how many C/G moments there used to be in the old days. Even in season 7, which was after the canon, there were some cute C/G moments. But season 8 is just bleh to me C/G-wise.

And about Marg's contract. It's due when season 8 ends and she has revealed in an interview last year that she wasn't very interested in re-signing if the show stayed the same. I don't know if it's become more interesting to her, but with Jorja Fox's (although she might come back, we don't know if it's for good) and Billy's (possible) leaving, I think TPTB will probably do everything they can to keep Marg. They can't afford losing the three of them at once. Of course I wouldn't mind seeing Cath and Gil leave together, but the logical side of me thinks it's too good to be true. lol.

^ I'm thinking that if Billy and Marg both leave at the end of this season and with Jorja already having left, this may be the last season of the show... I really hope they both stay for at least one more season, but I'm not so sure... But if they do both leave, lets hope like you said, they leave together...

It'd definitely be hard for them to lose their two lead people at the same time. And for me, considering that their friendship (or whatever's really left) is what kept me coming back week after week.

I've just read an interview over at AAM from this year, in which Marg states that she's thinking of coming back if only to wrap up Catherine's storyline, because she doesn't think they can do it in what is left of this season.

Hopefully Billy will think the same, which means hopefully that our Bugman and his favorite girl will leave together

Curious what she means by that. Is she talking about the GSR storyline? Cause I have gotten the impression that she isn't too impressed with it.

I am not getting my hopes up with any good G/C moments. The show is crashing and burning...I see a really crappy end to the season and the show.

Let's hope Grissom and Catherine abandon ship when the show sinks into the ocean of eternal re-runs. That way it can be left open to fanfics about where to take the Purejoy ship.

I also say this in case the show goes down, taking Sara and GSR with it into the bottom of the Marianas Trench.

I just saw the picture with the closeness and Marg's hand on his arm, awwwww they are just too perfect for each other. Of course on the show, cause we know they are married in real life. But I agree that if they weren't they would make a really amazing, cute, and perfect couple in real life as well.

Oh and yesterday I was watching the episode with the girl whose brother had leukemia and she was found murdered... anyways there was this scene were Cath and Gil were talking and Cath was telling him how worried she was about Lindsay cause she was so angry and wouldn't talk to her. So Gil starts giving her advise and it was just such a great moment between them. And then I got soo mad cause the writers just totally ignored their chemistry. But we still know they belong to each other, so that's what matters now

Here's hoping. My friend reckons they are going to kill Cath off, I was like "Noooo Laura, never say things like that to me!!" I really hope that they leave at the same time, and together. We need some G/C cuteness. <3

GASP. Just the idea of that is horrific. I really don't think they'd kill her off, though. When she and Billy leave and the show continues, I can see TPTB jumping at a first chance for them to come back and guest star or something.

I don't think they'd kill her off either. That would be stupid. As far as the guest starring thing, that would be cool and they could bring the little addition(s) that they've added to the family.
