As for the favorite scene from Seasson 8, I'm going with
Go to Hell when Gil and Cath were in the same room when the girl was pushed off the balcony in front of Cath.
kaylyne was the one who pointed out the scene, but I think it does speak for itself.

Are we doing favorite season 8 GC scene now?

Well, there isn't a whole lot to pick from, so I'll say the "Do I know how to turn you on, or what?" scene with the carp. It kind of gave me the vibe of the old PureJoy from long ago.

A fave scene from season 8? Well, there haven't been that many moments to choose from (which is such a crime).

I'd have to go with the "Do I know how to turn you on or what?" line too. It was a classic.

kaylyne I like that that "old purejoy from long ago". It makes GC sound like some epic fairytale.

...not to be a pessimist, but...isn't that the only scene we've gotten this season? :lol: That is so sad, it's unbelievable. But yeah, if I had to pick...that would be it? Hahaha. This is really pathetic. Oh TPTB what on earth have you done to our ship?

That is pretty pathetic isn't it? But I'm pretty sure that as far as shippiness, the carp line and that scene at the end of Go To Hell where they did their silent communication thing, are the only ones we got. Of course there was also that scene where Cath asks him what he wants after he says he doesn't want to go after Sara, but that really wasn't an enjoyable thing to watch. It seemed so forced and so unlike the purejoy we all know and love. I miss the old days.

Haha...you know what was an all around good ep? Secrets and Flies. I just watched that again and I immedietly fell in love with it again. When it first aired, i thought it was okay, but after the great GC depression, it was like looking back on a piece of heaven.

But you wouldn't have picked it if it was a bad scene even though it's pretty much the only one we've gotten so far. LOL. That was a witty line and I loved it. Catherine and Gil hadn't talked to each other in that manner for a long time and we all know that we had missed it. We also want more. :lol:

But, I have to say, this season is shaping up better than last season. I like the episodes so far and it looks like the fun relationship between Gil and Cath is coming back. The line in The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp began it all.

Sorry, I've been having some nice family time and didn't get a chance to bring that little present over here. Thanks E for passing it on. The advertisement was in one of the entertainment magazines I got in the mail on monday (In Touch or US Weekly, can't remember which) It's actually a smaller one-page version of the ad they previously had covering two pages a few months ago. Another Cath & Gil together promo? So I guess it's false advertising once again.

Thanks to Hottie for reminding me of this... A few days ago, Angie of Graveyard Shift Home posted this WGA ad from December 7's Variety in the graveshiftcsi yahoo group. You really should take a look because when these writers talk about partners, they talk about "Grissom and Willows" among pairings from other shows. As much as I'm a bit annoyed that Carol Mendelsohn took credit for creating "Grissom and Willows" on this ad despite the fact that she actually ruined this wonderful partnership on CSI, I'm quite glad that it was "Grissom and Willows" LOL.
