    *Knock at the door*

    Warrick: Cath, are you in there, I need to run something by you...
    Cath: *Out of breath* Erm... Hang on... Actually... I'm a little busy right now... Could you come back... In say 5 minutes...
    Gil: Maybe you could make it 10...
    Warrick: *Confused* Erm... Ok... *Leaves*
    Cath: Gosh that was close... I kinda like the excitement...
    Gil: Yeah Hon, I'm just glad he didn't catch me with my pants down. It would have broke his heart, he's always had a crush on you...
    Cath: Yeah, I find it kinda flattering, that a younger man has a thing for me... But don't worry Sweetie, you've got nothing to worry about... You're the one I love!
    Gil: And I love you too, but we need to get dressed, Warrick will be back in a few mins...
    Cath: Damn him... I'll meet you in your office after shift.
    Gil: Looking forward to it. *Kiss*

    Later in Gil's office:

    G: What took you so long?
    C: Lindsey.
    G: What?
    C: She got in trouble at school again.
    G: Oh. Is she okay?
    Catherine smiled, knowing his question meant that he cared about Lindsey too.
    C: She's grounded for a month and she's not happy with me at the moment. But, other than that she's fine. Thanks for asking.
    G: So, you had to pick her up at school?
    C: Well, I had to talk to some of her teachers and the principal. My mom met me up there and she took Lindsey home.
    G: Oh.
    C: Anyway, I'm back now and ... where were we?
    G: I think we were right about... (he leans in to kiss her just as a knock sounds on the door)

    N: Grissom? You in there?
    C: Oh, you have got to be kidding me!
    N: Grissom? (knocks again)
    G: Cath, why don't I just come by your place later?
    C: No, bad idea, Gil.
    G: (confused) Why?
    C: Young daughter in the house, remember?
    G: Right.
    C: I'll come by your place.
    G: Okay, its a date then.
    C: (smiles) See you later, Gil.
    G: Yes, you will. (grins as she kisses him and then opens the door and leaves the office, letting Nicky inside) Nicky, this better be important!

    *end scene*

    Woah, that ended up being longer than I intended, but I got a bit carried away. :lol:

    *Cath's house - Cath is getting ready for her date*

    Cath: *On the phone* Yeah Mom, can you look after Lindsay tonight, I'm going over to Gil's...
    Lily: And you're staying the night? To hear it, you'd think you 2 were dating... You are aren't you!? I knew there was something between you, there has always been something about the way you look at eachother...
    Cath: Ok Mom, yes we are... But it only started a few weeks ago, when we were away at that conference, and no one else knows yet, not even Lindsey, so don't mention it...
    Lily: Aww, I'm so happy for you, you 2 make a cute couple, I'll be over in 15 minutes.
    Cath: Ok, thanks Mom, Bye. *Hangs up, then carries on getting dressed, after which she goes to Lindsey's room* Linds, I've got something to tell you... It's about me and Uncle Gil... We're kind of dating... How do you feel about that... I mean, do you like him? Is it ok with you? If not we could...
    Lindsey: Mom, chill, it's totally fine with me, I love Gil, and he makes you happy, I've been waiting for you 2 to get it on for like forever...
    Cath: Aww, I'm so happy that you approve... Well I'm going over to his house tonight... Kinda on a date, and I'm staying there, so I'll see you tommorow Honey, love you. Your Grandma will be here anytime.
    Lindsey: Ok, tell Uncle Gil I say Hi, love you Mom, and by the way, you look very pretty, Gil's going to pass out when he sees you...
    Cath: *Laughs* Thank you Sweetie. Oh, I hear your Grandma, better go.
    Lily: Catherine, where are you?
    Cath: Here Mom, but I really have to go, I just told Lindsey about Gil, she's happy for us...
    Lily: Aww, that's great, so am I, well you have fun my dear, I'll see you tommorow.
    Cath: Thanks Mom, bye. *Leaves for Gil's house*

    (honks her horn)

    C: Come on, move it already! (sighs and picks up cell phone, dialing Gil)

    G: Hello?

    C: Hey, it's me.

    G: Hey.

    C: I told Linds about us.

    G: Yeah? And how did she take it?

    C: She said she'd been waiting for us to get together for a long time.

    Even though she can't see him, she can tell he is smiling now.

    G: Lily's with her now?

    C: Yeah. Listen, I'm on my way, but ...

    G: But what?

    C: I'm stuck in traffic.

    G: Oh.

    C: I don't know what the delay is.

    G: It's okay, Cath. You'll get here when you get here. I can be patient.

    C: Well, I can't be!

    G: (laughs) Well, I can stay on the phone with you until you get here if you want.

    C: That would be great!

    Geez, I'm gone for a few days and look at what all I missed:eek:...those wonderful pics with the great captions. I would make my own caption for them, but I think you all pretty much grab the concept of the situations in the pics.:lol: That's a cute story you guys got going, Steph and GregNickRyanFan....it's amazing what one picture can lead to.:) *runs off to find a pic for all you wonderful cappers to caption*

    GregNickyRyanFan, I'm actually looking after my little cousin (tsk) and am just about to go to have my dinner and then go the hairdressers, so I'm not able to continue out little story until later, but I'm having fun doing it. ;)

    Yaaaay!! Erica you're back with us. *Runs up and hugs you real tight* How's the move going? I guess it's really stressful. Well we're all missing you in here, so don't stay away too long. ;) Hope you don't take too long to get settled in. :D Oh and by the way, I love your new icon. :D

    Cath: Gil, we've laid out a blanket, so your back will be fine. Now get down there. We've got to test our theory.
    Gil: Well, it's not necessarily my back I'm worried about.
    Cath: Don't worry, I've got you covered from all angles. *smirks*
    *Gil looks at her and raises eyebrow*

    *Gil and Cath on the phone, Cath's stuck in traffic.*

    Gil: Anything for you my dear. I'm so happy that Lindsey took the news about us being together well...
    Cath: Well, she loves you Gil, you've always been there for us both, I guess you're like the father Eddie never was to her...
    Gil: Well you know, I've always loved you both, even more so now, I'll always been there for you, and Lindsey to, just say the word, and I'll drop everything and come running.
    Cath: Thanks Hun, and I'll do the same for you too. Oh the traffic has started moving again, I better go, incase there are any cops upahead, you don't want any further delays through me getting stoped for using my phone when driving, then you'd have even longer to wait. *Laughs*
    Gil: Ok Darling, I'll see you soon, about 5 minutes?
    Cath: Yeah 5 minutes, maybe sooner. See you then, love you.
    Gil: Love you too, drive safe. *Hangs up*

    *5 minutes later Cath arrives at Gil's townhouse.*

    Cath: You think Ecklie will remember anything about seeing us together once he wakes?

    Gil: Nope. I think you took care of that, Wild-Cat! I didn't know you had an arm like that!

    Cath: Yeah well... I try. :)

    RR:

    Cath walks up to Gil's door, but he opens it before she can even raise her hand to knock. She walks inside, he shuts and locks the door. They suddenly start kissing.

    Cath: Oh God, I thought I was gonna die if I didn't get soon.

    Gil: (chuckles) Well, you're here now, so no worries, right?

    Cath: Yep! So, what do you want to do first?

    Gil: This! (kisses her)

    (phone rings)

    Cath: Ugh! Come on! Give us a break here!

    Gil looks at the caller ID.

    Gil: It's Ecklie.

    Cath: I'll kill him!

    Gil: Can't have that. Then I'll never get to see you again.

    Gil walks over to the wall and pulls the phone cord out of the socket. He then picks up his cell phone and shuts it off. Cath follows his cue and shuts her cell off as well.

    Gil: Now, where were we, my dear?

    Cath: Erm... Yeah... But I know you love it, and me.
    Gil: Yeah, I do, but I'm not sure, I'm going to be able to make it through dinner, especially since you wore that skirt...
    Cath: Ok Gil, stop it, I need food... The sooner we get the food, the sooner we get to move onto other things... You keep that in mind...

    Cath: Well know, that is an offer I can refuse. *Kisses him* Now go get me food.
    Gil: Alright, I'm going already. *A few minutes later and Cath is sitting at the table* Dinner is served Ma'Lady.
    Cath: Aww, you made my favourite, spaghetti bolognese, thanks Hun, mmm... This is delicious.
