That is why G/C is the very first and remains to be my FAVORITE pairing ever (except for Hermione/Harry maybe. :lol:). They have such easy chemistry and things are always spontaneous and natural between them!

Mine too. Mulder & Scully are second, Abby & Luka third. :D Mulder/Scully was my first but GCR has so taken the lead ;)

Hey. How's everyone doing? Work has been hell and I didn't have time to write a proper post. lol. It's friggin' hot over here and I hate heat. Meh.

Are we on Mulder/Scully v.s. Catherine/Gil now? Because I'm also a M/S lover hehe. The interesting is I hadn't been a M/S shipper until I started shipping Cath/Gil. I was one of those who thought romance would be disturbing, especially when they had such a special, unique friendship that no one else understood. I mean I did think about the possibility of them being a couple, but I had never wanted to see them get together on the show, pretty much like the way I ship C/G now. And really, XF started to suck since Scully found out she was pregnant and started spending all her time looking for Mulder. But that's just my opinion. lol. Anyways I certainly prefer C/G to M/S because they have the history that M/S didn't have. They had known each other for over a decade when we first met them. I'm not sure I want to see them get together on the screen because I'm not sure the writers will handle it well, but I don't think I'd complain if it happened. :)

Erica, basically everything you said in your first post, totally agree. I always shipped MSR but taken a backseat since I discovered CSI.

Continuing with M/S and C/G, I was reading some of my old reviews of The X Files and found this quote by Scully about relationships that are based on friendships:

From one of my fave X Files episodes, Rain King. I always think of that line when i'm compairing the two couples. Just the cutest quote. Scully is so a GCR shipper lol. I can't even pick out which part of the quote is the best, it's just all good! One of my fave quote from X Files. Bless it.

Do you guys know which CSI books are best to buy? Only really want the ones with GCR lol. Anyone got any of the games? I've just bid on one from ebay.

I never did ship M/S [ducks ams flying things :lol: ] but I loved the show...

I think that quote does sum up Gris and Cath.. they could look at each other as friends then see something different the next time they looked at each other.

I think I was a little too young to watch X-Files when it was on and popular and everything, but...I do remember thinking "are those two going out?" I'm just hoping G/C do the same and end up together. (sigh)
 
I love the moments we've been listing, and that room under the stars - I can just imagine them in their own home, and Gil surprising Catherine with one of those machines, and...well... ;)

Do we have a Cath and Gil soundtrack? We so need one.
 
Season 7 favorite- Definitely the slap scene in The Good, The Bad, The Dominatrix. It reminded me of their banter in the earlier seasons of CSI.

Favorite the sex scene- Bow Tie scene in Formalities. 'Nuff said.

I agree about marrying your best friend. Who else is going to be there for you no matter what.
I think that also describes Gil and Cath.
To me, they are best friends and share everything and are going to be there for each other no matter what.
