OnlyTruth whine away and I will join you. All of us in the Ward know who the real winner is :) The only good news in all of this is it's CSI Las Vegas that's really the winner because all the next round will be all of them competing together. As Yoshi said to me we all know who the best is and that The Ward Rules. Nick will be the only winner for me. Call me sore loser if you want :) The rant is over

Best of luck to Greg. May the up and comer do his best :)

Whine away guys. Nick is the reason that I watch CSI. He's the only one who seems human in each and every episode. I don't think I'll be playing in the next round. (I think the 2 winners in each group go up against each other?) Can't see myself voting for Greg as I like labrat Greg and not CSI Greg. Maybe I'll play if Archie is in it (I forget that far back). Next to Nick he's my favorite.

I agree with you OnlyTruth. There has to be some way a weighting it when it is reset. Nick had around 20 points more than the other 2 when it was reset. And that doesn't only go for Nick. The same thing came up in the other rounds too.

I'll add some cheese and crackers to the table of goodies so we have something to go with our whine :) The winners from the other rounds were Brass, Sofia, Archie, and Doc Robbins.

I do agree with both of you blackflag and OnlyTruth there needs to be a better way of resetting the numbers. Nick was lucky in the original game because they weren't any voting rules and us Ward Girls voted a lot :D All we can do is try to come up with some suggestion that will make it fair for everyone next they try this.

Nice one :D

Maybe a reset after each elimination? Or maybe that would be too many. I don't know.
Anyway - I have pictures of a certain CSI to drool over. :D

What seems particularly shady to me about the resets is that the counts were reset when there were only three players left, and we're only taking it down to two. So if there's a particularly intimidating opponent in that three and people use some sort of tactic to vote, then he's out super fast.
When the numbers were reset Greg and Cath were at 13 each, and Nick had 46.
He's clearly a force to be reckoned with. :)

Thanks for the cheese and crackers, Jacquie. I'm done whining now. It's just a silly game, anyway. Here (and in the Ward) we know who is the best. We don't need a game to prove anything.

By having 20 threads in the Ward and 8 here in the discussion thread I think we've proven how dedicated we are also. I went and checked the Elimination Game a couple of times after Nick unfairly lost and there was a fan that was gloating. I think of how mature we are because in all the times someone else's favourite lost we never gloated once. I think we need to pat ourselves on the back for a job well done.

Nick is the best :)

W-WOW! Nick got eliminated? Well, that was surprising! Ah well, someone else should have gotten a chance to win anyway.

Hi Maryse how are things going :) Yea we were all surprised when Nick go eliminated in what we all determine was unfair. But you are correct how many other characters have a ward and an Island named after them :)

Jacquie things are good. I'm glad the new season is finally here. Oh and after a long list of baby names, my husband said he prefered Nicklas...he got no arguments from me on that name!

A man with good taste in names. Gotta love that.

Maryse good choice of names :)

OK on last night's show there were 2 glaring problems. First of all there was tooo tooo much GSR yuk!. Secondly and more seriously that was an extreme shortage of Nick! After the amount of time GE had in the first two shows I'm not surprised but a Ward Girl expects her guy in every shot :)

On the Nick that we did get boy was he hot and I don't just mean the weather in California was hot when it was being filmed. The arm porn :) The scene where he charges through the halls and throws Archie the bag of tapes and says this is you priority tonight. Take charge Nick I like :) But why must Nick continue to find all the dead children  I realize a CSI's job is not a rosy one but tptb let our guy have a break from the children!

I'll start off being completely shallow - Nick was very  (while he was there). Unlike that sweater he wore in that one Keppler ep last season, I liked that horizontal stiped shirt he wore last night.

I agree with you Jacquie, not nearly enough Nick and way too much GSR. They're on seperate shifts for a reason. I found myself waiting for the end to see the promo for next week (and that was even worse!).

Anyone else notice that Sofia was in the opening credits and not Hodges? Wonder if they're going to revert back to last years opening credits every time Hodges isn't going to appear.

I wish that they would stop having Nicky be the one to find the dead kids. I know he does real good on the emotions in those scenes, but it's about time someone else had to deal with it. Did like the conversation between Warrick and Nick as they were walking up to the house - 4 power outages and a $100 fine for the sprinkler. (I was wrong, that wasn't a hydrant it was a leaky sprinkler as Babs' pics show me.)

I didn't know that it was "167 hours until another body turns up on CSI" as the TV Guide commercial said at the end. Wonder if they really counted the hours?

Susan

blackflag I don't even want to think about the horrors of next weeks show  I'm sure all the GSR fans will be happy. I do hope they make up with for it with a lot of Nick time for us.

I did notice the credit difference but I don't recall seeing Sofia in the show.

Ah yes the stripped shirt. GE you are looking so hot this year. And the arm porn you are giving us....The only thing better would be shirtless porn

blackflag thanks for finishing the line about the power outage. I got that part but missed the fire hydrant line :) And yes at the end of last night's show there were 167 hours until the next CSI. Calculator did the trick not the brain :)
