George/Nick: Texan Charm #6

God I couldn't get in last night.

That was a great episode Nick-wise. I mean the story itself wasn't too good but George out did himself last night. Great acting.

And the amnesia line. I almost went 'weeeee!!!' when he said that. So we know that the writers haven't practice selective amnesia themsleves on the Grave Danger story line.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think George's character has really come to the forefront this season. He's almost filled in Warrick's role. Even Grissom turns to him for informtion.

If it weren't for Nick, they wouldn't have found the girl on time because he theorized based on a past experience.

The shaving scene was pretty hot, but Nick was hotter.
 
Jacquie you're absolutely right and the last thing I would want to do is accuse or offend anyone here. I've lurked on several boards and y'all are the best, nicest bunch of people - the only board I've ever felt comfortable enough to post on. Just before I posted here I read a cruel comment about George's weight on one of those other boards and my post here was a reaction to my frustration at the shallowness of so many these days, but I don't feel that about anyone here!

I have a belly. I have always had a belly - and as the mother of two young children with a husband who works 7 days a week I'm not going to hang out at the gym and get rid of it anytime soon. But I'm healthy, a good person (I think) and a really good mother (I hope) and that's what matters!

I think George is fantastic looking no matter what his hairstyle or weight. He is an awesome actor and by all acounts a kind hearted person and that's what matters. That's why I like to come here - y'all feel the same way!

Sorry if I said too much - did I mention my daily adult interaction is somewhat lacking?

I haven't seen this episode yet, but reading what y'all think keeps me going :lol:, I can't wait to see it!! I am so jealous. *sobs*

The episode was okay. The Nicky in it was... hm.... I'm speechless :D He is so georgeous. Yay! for the hair! :lol: Yay! for the arm porn! Sorry, I'm shallow :D Of course I adored the acting, but it's the little things that bring out the fangirl in me ;)

Oh - and I totally cracked up when Cath said "You are so creepy sometimes" to Grissom :D And please let's not talk about the last scene :rolleyes: I'll have selective amnesia on this.

And, ya know, softcake , we're all pretty shallow here -- but at least it is in an adoring, complimentary way.

We all now that George's birthday is on Thursday. What would you do for him on his birthday :)? Remember pg 13 :D And what would you get him as a present? besides handcuffs :lol:

I'm not very good at picking the right gift for a birthday boy. I'd probably buy a book or funky patterned underwear, make a sappy card and cook dinner. Sorry, George :D

oh anything else: i´ve a nice association. A little part by CSI as dead body, and Nicky must analyse me - Folks i swear, i'd have to laugh then and i think it´s very funny situation, and i know nicky would have to laugh too.

softcake, I love it! "I'll have selective amnesia on this" is going to be used with pleasure! I'm sure I will get some funny looks but...I like it!!! You are too funny!

Continuity. Oh.....I wish I could have selective amnesia, but the TPTB already have it!! We should be hired for continuity purposes. Not much escapes us! ;)

I will be more than happy to be Nick's woobie! I won't shrink, shed or smother. I'll offer comfort and selective amnesia for when he shares his inner most thoughts. See softcake it has already stuck!

Feeling better. Will be much better when I can move my head without my brain playing catch up to the movement! Fluid in my middle ear is giving me fits!

George looks great no matter what! I'd drool no matter what! I'm not exactly model material and will be this side of 40 in April. I always said I wouldn't have many friends if I judged them on looks and appearance. Not to mention there is only more of me to love! :)

I must thank the directors/writers/camera people and of course our ever so wonderful George for giving us the incrediable *behind* shots that keeps the Ward in line! What can I say!? George looks great! :D

And for George's birthday gift.....I would probably cook him dinner. Then take him golfing. (although I've never been golfing before and I'm sure he would realize just how dangerous it can be. I'm sure he would be crying with laughter!) Then a quiet night talking under the stars and of course a gift. Not too sure what I'd get him. I would have to put some thought into it! I have this gag gift streak in me. Therapy...need therapy! :lol:

Guess I lied when I said I would be here more this weekend...turned out to be crazy, just like the rest of my life!

As for GE's birthday...hmmm...Friday is also Texas' Independence Day (must remember to hang my Texas flag...yes, I do have one but I've had it for 20 years, not just cuz of our boy!) Heck, maybe I'll put the flag out Thursday too! Anyway, I'd take him to a big 'ol Texas style BBQ, maybe we could go for a ride on his motorcycle, play with Maverick...then the rest I can't get into cuz D would probably ban me this time!
 
McStokes I'm sure there are plenty of us out there that would like to do something :devil: for GE's birthday and I sure Destiny is one of them :lol: Though she may not want to admit it.

I would let GE do what he wants for the day and then cook him dinner. It would probably be roast beef and yorkshire pudding with a chocolate fondue for dessert :) As for a gift what do you get the man who probably has everything. Maybe a nice gold chain :)
