George/Nick: Texan Charm #13

As far as I know no-one from CSI was at either. At least I haven't been able to find any new pics of George. :(

With the PCA's those who won are told ahead of time and only the winners are really in the audience. (I guess so they can have more of the 'voting public' in the audience.)

I did actually have it on last night but I was reading a book and kept the sound down. Lets just say that every time I looked up they were showing someone else that I didn't know who it was!

Thanks Shane, it was a terrific interview!!

I read it when you first posted it, but let me tell you, trying to post using my phone really sort of sucks, awesome Android that it is.
I love using it to stay on top of things and read posts, but it's just not the same trying to type a long post, but maybe I'll get better at it.
For now I leave the long postings to the computer :p

I loved the questions that were asked, and George's replies! Most of you have already posted, so thanks to my lateness, I really won't go into all of my thoughts, other than to say it was fantastic, and George is an awesome man :D

As for twitter, I'm on both sides of the fence on this matter.
On one hand, I would LOVE to follow him and hear what he has to say, but then I also agree with the dangers of getting hurt and hearing bizarre stuff about yourself. I had to change my profile so that people who want to follow me have to ask. I was getting some weird sexual creeps who started to follow me against my will, and it's not like I even tweet much  I don't know how to delete them, but I did manage to block at least one. Now they have to ask for approval, so at the least, George could do that. Unfortunately I got another request this morning, at least it doesn't look porn-ish like the others, but it's still hard to figure out why they want to follow me, since I'm not a celebrity. If George goes for twitter, at the very least he should definitely get verified, and lock his approvals.

George, if you really do check these boards, we just want you to know how fantastic we think that you, and Nick are! And like the others, my email is........

Oh, as for the PCA's, didn't watch.
Castle, bah!!
Even if CSI didn't win, how could the other CBS shows not??????

Does anyone know if George went to any pre golden globes parties?

And I saw the latest twitter photo - nice.

He sure does look good! :adore: Good to know there will be some good Nick stuff coming up relatively soon. Hopefully LOTS of it. :)

I just read the new interview posted with David. I love how he likes being called Super Dave just as much as I love when Nick calls him that.

And, I agree with him, David and Nick do a a good relationship. I always enjoy when he and Nick have scenes together in an episode.

Agreed. I love their relationship. :) Glad that David mentioned it.

Wow, we've been so lucky with the spoiler Twitter pics lately. I love when the directorys post pictures on the Twitter pages, especially when they are of George.

I posted a story in the spoiler thread. The part about George...

Even tho it's not really spoilerish..
Finally someone is acknowledging that Nick is the "rock of the crime lab and always has been". :)
So what effect will Helgenberger’s departure have on the remaining CSIs, say, for example, Nick Stokes (George Eads)?

“In some ways, Nick has inherited the mantle of Grissom — the bug expert, the same sort of approach to crime scenes, having been mentored by Grissom, so Nick is the inheritor,” McGill says.

But Mendelsohn hints that there may be a little office hanky panky in the future, saying, “All I can say is George has never met Elizabeth Shue and he met her on the set and said, ‘I absolutely love her. I think Nick should have a relationship with her character.’ That is getting a little ahead of ourselves, but Nick is the solid foundation and rock of our [crime lab] and he always has been.”

Office hanky panky? They make it sound like the two will be sneaking off in the broom closet or something. I hope not. I wouldn't mind the two in a romantic relationship, but I don't want Nick to compromise his office ethics by sneaking off and doing things like that while on the job LOL.

Well, this part at least isn't spoilerish, so I'm gonna quote CM here.... :)

"Nick is the solid foundation and rock of our [crime lab] and he always has been.”
