Not spoiling here, but...oh my...this was a very, VERY cap-worthy episode!! I may just need to buy this one on iTunes. :D

Nick was his usual adorable self last night. :adore:

His lines seemed more like early seasons Nick lines. I was reminded of Nick/Warrick airplane scene in Unfriendly Skies and the "Peanut" line from The Strip Strangler (I believe it was?).

And I love that they brought back some of the friendly Nick/Sara banter.

Nick sure did seem a little worried about Super Dave using the saws-all to get their vic.

The only thing I didn't really like was that it seemed that they were trying to make a Nick/Langston friendship like the Nick/Warrick friendship. Can't do that! The Nick/Warrick friendship was unique. :( (Think even tptb said so back around season 8!)

Awesome Nick last night. Got some great Nick smiles. Loved the Nick and Sara scene - wished we'd get more, they work well togeter. Loved how they had Nick remember his father or grandfather, his dog and watching that movie when he was 7.

Wow - twice now he's used his bug knowledge - did he even use it in Season 10?

And of course, he looked great, as usual.

In Family Affair with his spider and 'Stevie' (Grissoms spider!)

An interview with Katee Sackhoff. What can I say but the lady has good taste! (near half way down!)

Working with George (Eads) is great. He and I are cut from the same cloth. He's the kind of guy you could sit and talk football with for hours over beers. I like that. It reminds me of being home with my family.

One of the great things (to me at least) about Nick/Warrick was watching it grow - from their early rivalry, through the banter, into a deep caring friendship. Langston doesn't have that kind of background with Nick, and never will, so I hope they don't try to turn it into the same thing.

I got a laugh out of how distracted Nick was in the hotel room, especially when Langston was talking about the Celtic knot - "uh huh." :)

I'd love to see more of Nick and Sara. I love their friendship!

Does following a trail of maggots in Lovers Lanes count as using his bug knowledge?

I so disagree, Nick has bonded with Langston from the beginning and they just get along on all cases, and are there for each other. You can make new friends regardless of when and how long you knew them. After all his buddy Warrick is gone :( What's he supposed to do just walk around all sad and disturbed all the time?, or make a new friend that he gets along with just as well. The Dr. Ray and him have clicked since he walked in in S/9, so it's going on two years and they've got a strong bond. Nick seems to find camaraderie with all his co-workers, maybe except Hodges and Ecklie:scream:

I like the Nick and Ray friendship. I miss the Warrick and Nick one, but there is something pretty cool about Nick and Ray. Ray is not the cool, sexy guy as Warrick was. Their friendship is more cerebral, whereas the friendship between Nick and Warrick was more like two frat boys..am I making sense.

I think that Ray is cool and sexy, and all friendships are different in some special way~

That's exactly my point - Ray and Nick don't have the same rivalry in the background that Nick and Warrick did. Yes, they're friends, but it's a different kind of friendship with a different basis - so if they start acting like Nick and Warrick did, it's trying to turn one thing into another. Nick's growing up too - so a more mature friendship with Ray is good for him, rather than another 'frat boy' friendship.

I think Nick does fine with Hodges, as well as anyone can. He's got that kind of easygoing personality that gets along with most people. :)

What episode did Nick say to Det. I think Vega, when he told him he wanted an apology, about the case "I'm sorry.. you feel that way", such great timing and his always great expressions;)And he tolerates Hodges but grinds his teeth when he has to talk to him. He does have a good camraderie with all he works with, but there's always an exception~

Yes, that's what I was trying to say..but you worded it beautifully:thumbsup: a 'mature friendship' between men of similar age, although Langston is slightly older than Nick. I liked Warrick, but at the end, he was dealing with so many demons and Nick was really trying to push ahead in his career.

I just getting around to capping Thursday's show. Is it my imagination or is Nick's accent getting thicker this year. I'm at the point where Super Dave is going to cut down the body and Nick's commenting about chopping the body down. The way Nick says chopping is  George's drawl is just oozing out
