Hi guys! Sorry I'm kind of hit and miss these days. My dad's been in the hospital since last week, and I've been having to deal with that, but I need a Nick fix so here I am.

After looking at all your pics of Nick in plaid I have to say that I'm definately a fan of the darker plaids on him! :lol:

Now that i've been "hanging" around here, i was wondering...how do you guys cap pictures from the CSI episodes? Because there are some certain ones that i myself would love to cap but i don't know how.
Is there a certain website with all the episodes on? And a certain program i should use?

Most of us own the DVD's and cap from them using different programs that we've come across. I use a program called VLC. For the current season we use the feeds that come from CBS or in my case CTV. I don't know if CBS has back episodes but I know that since CTV only started showing them online since January of this year they don't have back episodes. Also for CTV you have to be a resident of Canada to see the show online.

I use my DVD's. Don't have season's 6 & 7 and what I've got I got from CSICaps and the other site that doesn't exist any more. :lol: Starting in season 9 I started capping from CBS. CBS doesn't keep the previous season after the next season starts. For making my caps I either play it on full screen and push the Print Scrn/SysRq key open Paint type Ctrl V save it as jpg crop and tag it either on Picnik.com before loading it into photobucket or do it in photobucket. Or I use the nice little tool that my Vista came with called the 'Snipping' tool which allows me to draw a rectangle around what I want and save it as jpg, then I just upload it to photobucket and tag it.

I do mine with digital files - either ripped from my DVDs, or DVR for the more recent ones (my computer has a cable adapter, so I can save TV shows on it). I use a program called Avidemux, which lets me step through one frame at a time, then save a specific frame as a jpg.
You can also make requests here - as you've seen, we don't mind sharing.
