No, she was not the only one bothered. I'm confused, because I can remember being told here once that I shouldn't care who had won or not won lately, but that I should pick my favorite pic regardless.

But as I said then and still maintain, it's no fun to keep playing and never get to name a theme. It's a silly game. We should feel good coming here and having fun. Why does it always have to be made into something bigger than that?

Maybe we should stop having "winners" and just take turns posting themes? Nah...that wouldn't be fun either. How about if we just play and enjoy the game for what it is...a game.


I've been sitting on this post for a couple of hours. :( Hitting "submit" and going to bed now.

Destiny, you can hose me, but I have to add my voice to Egeria's. This is part of the reason I don't play much anymore. I have enough drama in real life, I really don't need it in a place I go to have fun and relax.

There. I'm done. I'll go hide again now.

I think like that too. I mean we should choose the pic we like the most, that's what The Ward is all about.
I see your point with playing is no fun without winning too... but I don't think it needs whining to win a theme... we're adult enough to make sure that everybody wins Nick from time to time. I mean I only had the chance to choose a winner two times here but I always made sure that I didn't chose a lady who had the honour of having Nick two days before or so... I think that's quiete natural. In this case it was the wrong post at the wrong time to complain about not winning a game... that's childish.

We should try to find a compromise. Chosing a pic we like and making sure that we take also in consideration who won the last themes and who not... I guess that's something most of you already do :)
If we respect that... I don't think there needs to be whining here.
Because it's like Smokey said... just a game ;) A good one at that :p

E. wrote that she went with the pic she likes the most and that's fine with me because she has a bad time right now and because she made it clear enough that we shouldn't complain and show a bit of appreciation.

I'll do it and let Stokes4Me anjoy her Nick time, she earned it :D




Ohhh yeah MyFutureCSI Nicky hates fighting and I'm so sorry for causing him tears :(

Stokes4me, I'm sitting this theme out. Work's been a little crazy, two doctor appointments today :eek:, and just no time.

You know, just in case you waiting for me. :guffaw:
 
Stokes4me has asked for additional time picking the theme winner (do to her personal problem) and I am giving it too her. She requested 12 more hours more, the time that I make this post is 11:31 pm et. I am going to round it off and take it too the noon 12:00 pm et thursday. I have also told her if at that time she is still unable to do this then I will deal with it from there. So you have additonal time or just treat this as a regular thread a just post non theme picks. I ask that if its a non theme meant pic that you please state that, so that it doesn't make it harder for Stokes4me when she has to go through them.

First off, sorry for me being unable to post the winner last night and keeping Nick a lot longer than expected and I hope this hasn't caused any trouble or upset feelings for anyone.

I don't really want to join in on the whine and cheese party, all I can say, after having seen the wreck that was once our car, is - life is too fragile, too precious and too short.
