    I respectfully retract my accusation and agree. It's a zip up jacket under the vest. The pics I looked at looked like the zipper was the vest zipper.

    Turns out that it was my tree...or rather, exactly half of it, that fell. :( A couple of my neighbors came and pushed it off the driveway a bit so I could get out, but I'm sure they're going to have to take the rest of it down now.

    I got out to the store to get my dad's stuff, and it's like the Wizard of Oz out there! Trees and power lines are down, my dad's power is out, and the power went out while I was in the grocery store!

    Yikes.

    Well speedy and Smokey I hope things are ok for you :) We expect the remains of Ike tonight. We could get 20mm of rain. And don't ask me to convert it to inches :D

    I may be a little later than intended tomorrow in posting the winner. Christopher came home with a swelled up knee and will have to go to the doctor tomorrow. We're hoping for after school so he doesn't mess up perfect attendance so early in the school year. If that happens I'll most likely have to walk down to the other school and get his sister as she can't cross the one street without getting run over! :scream: So winner will probably be another hour or two later than I said earlier.

    Thanks everyone for your concern with all the rain. We got a ton of it. They said that dumped over 65 BILLION gallons of storm water in Lake Michigan. Hopefully, I'll find my way to work tomorrow. We have highways shut down because of the flooding. One of the entrances to my mom's neighborhood is flooded, so I hope I can get in the back way. If not, I have nowhere to put Rogen and it's my long day. What fun. :rolleyes:
