I know he's a private person but I don't understand why when he posts a tweet about going somewhere like he did in Vegas or a movie he doesn't mention his wife goes with him.

And my guess as to why he never mentions his family is a) it doesn't fit in the 140 character limit on Twitter, but mostly because b) he's never brought his family into anything throughout his career. There's a reason his personal life and his family are essentially unknown by the media and the public and it's because he's very purposefully left them out of that circus. His entire personal life actually. And I give him huge props for keeping them out of the publicity circle that is unavoidable for him. If he was to mention his family was with him at any event he went to, I guarantee there'd be all sorts of extra attention paid to them and then you'd get all the speculation and rumors and queries surrounding the whys and wherefores if his wife did or did not go with him somewhere or why certain of kids went where.

I didn't realize he always kept his family out of the publicity circle. And I can imagine how hard that is for him especially in this day in age. It does make sense actually.

I was watching the first two seasons yesterday and noticed for the first time how the time passed by. He looked much younger 8 years ago, not that he isn't looking good now

Director's Cut!!!! The only version you should be getting is the original director's cut release from 2002. Do not get the new 2011 re-release as it doesn't have the short movie version which has an extended beginning If you can't find the 2002 edition on Amazon or anything, there a lot of copies on ebay. *sigh* I can't begin to say how much I love Spence....! He's second only to Mac for me...my poor, poor Spence... :adore:
