Re: Gary # 3 Mr. Sinister.

Well, I just finished watching Gary on the Letterman show and being one of the first interviews I've seen I was glad to find out that despite his "serious" looks and the "sinister" characters he's played he does have a light side!

The interview was funny, I wish he'd stayed a little longer. Oh, and I loved how he pointed to the guy who was playing the CSI:NY theme with the sax when he came in, that's a man who loves music! :)

Re: Gary # 3 Mr. Sinister.

Yay new thread. ;) Great job, you guys! :p

I never got to see the interview, that sucks. But thanks for the details, Orison!

Re: Gary # 3 Mr. Sinister.

Congrats on the new thread! Hey, it's my first time over here, too... :D

Yeah, I notice that in his random interviews too. As smile-deprived Mac is on the show, Gary actually smiles a whole lot.

Re: Gary # 3 Mr. Sinister.

Yaaaaay, new thread! Cracks open a bottle of wine to celebrate

Yeah, Gary is actually pretty funny in interviews, not at all like a lot of the characters he plays. I remember on the dvd of "The Stand", the directors were talking in their commentary about auditioning Gary for the role, and they said when he auditioned, he was so funny he had them rolling on the floor - which is really kinda funny, because his role in The Stand was such a serious one!

I guess he was funny on The View too, according to a poster on another board who watched it. One of the women asked about him being worried about his daughter dating, and he said she always went out with a group of friends, but not alot of guys actually come over to the house. Then he said, "I think they're scared of me." To which one of The View women replied, "Well, if you act like Lt. Dan around them, that's probably why!" or something like that. I'm so bummed I missed that show!

Re: Gary # 3 Mr. Sinister.

I saw it and remember the going out in packs part but not the Lt Dan part...*sniff* lol I bet he could be even more scary if he acted like Mac...

Re: Gary # 3 Mr. Sinister.

Yipee a new Thread....
Working on getting thoses interviews uploaded.. Errr darn computer....

Re: Gary # 3 Mr. Sinister.

Watched the Letterman's interview.
Oh my, I'm still laughing    that thing at the theatre :D
He was dressed like Mac in season 1, I recognized the tie... :p
He was sooo sweet when he was talking of his sons :)

Hey, CSI:NY at #5!!! YAY!!! :D

Re: Gary # 3 Mr. Sinister.

^ Yeah, I cheered when he mentioned how good the ratings were. This season is going great so far. :)

Hahahahah! Yeah, I think so, too.

But hey, how cool could that be. Your dad is Lt. Dan/Mac Taylor (both are Taylors anyway). Lol! If that were me, I would be like "If you cheat on me, remember... my dad plays a CSI on TV. He'll know what to do with you..." :D

Is there a link to a video of the Letterman guesting? Living in a far off place sucks.
