Flack/Monroe #2 - It's a Block Party Thing!

csicat, thanks. I have been thinking about costumes they would wear. And I thought the same thing about Lindsay dressing as a Angel :devil:. Flack did say he was the Larry Bird in Rucker Park. If he wanted a low key outfit he could go as a Blues Brother or Tommy lee Jones in Men in Black. But that's because we always see him in a suit at work. They would work he was on call. But what do you think would be the funniest thing these two could dress up as? ;)

Middle names, huh? For Lindsay, I see her having her mother's name as a middle name. You know. Something like Anne. Lindsay Anne Monroe. LAM. Has a nice ring to it, I think. As for Don, I don't really know. It's probably the same as his father's. Something generic, like James or Quintilius.

What they'd wear for a Halloween party? Flack dressing up as a basketball player seems too obvious. Danny would give him a hard time for taking the easy way out. I could see him dressing up in a pinstripe suit and being a mob boss. Or maybe he could dress up as Elwood Blues; he's tall enough for it.

Lindsay, I really like the angel idea. It's not just the story (which I have read, and I like, except for the parts where Flack calls her 'babe' because it's the first time and Flack doesn't strike me as the type who'd use epithets straight off.) I think Lindsay just strikes me as the type who would dress as an angel. She's sweet enough to pull it off, and she'd probably look good in the costume.

Edit: CSI_Watcher_8, we had the same idea of Flack going as a Blues Brother! I really like that. We're kind of amazing. XD
 
Ok two things. One was watching 'Bad Beat' on spike last night. And I think that is when I starting thinking about those two. Not so much as a couple at first but the way they both handled their tasks on this case just said wow they have a simialir sense of humor.

OK now my second thought. Has anyone else heard the Hinder song "How Long". Because it made me think Danny POV of how he sees Flack & Lindsay together after 'Love run cold' Tell me what you guys think?

Ok no FM on wednesday. But I was thinking he would be mad that she and Hawkes didn't get a cop to go with them to the Blue train. It was 12am maybe later he caught up with her. ;) (dorks rule!)
 
Dude, "Not What It Looks Like" was such a good episode for FM randomness. Really. Not that the episode wasn't good in general...

Anyway. My Flack/Lindsay EP is done, I'm just waiting on the album art from Ragna. It promises to be amazing. She finished the art for my DL mix yesterday, and it equaled love. Yes, I know, me -- making anything DL? I couldn't help it.

Random Question: Do you think the writers will include Anna's pregnancy in the CSI:NY storyline, and do you think the pregnancy will have anything to do with Flack?
 
To answer you question in a word no. But if they did it would be interesting. Sometimes shows can do interesting stories when a actress gets pregnant in real life. And of course Flack has something to do with Lindsay's pregnancy :lol: ;). It takes two to do the deed.

While Flack definitely owns at expressions, I think that Lindsay owns at subtextual ones. You can just read so much into hers, it's great. But you know, while I can't really see Lindsay poledancing, I can see her wearing some naughty undergarments. Maybe a special phone conversation while he's on the job. XD
 
Maybe she wouldn't pole dance but I see her try if it was part of a case. Or if someone dared her. I'm sure she wouldn't be doing tricks on it. ;) You mentioning a phone conversation reminds me of this pic.

I give you that look because you make me. Yeah I blame you. :lol: I remember those things when you mention fic for our other ships. Don't want FM to get left behind. How could you let them steal it? (really I bet they gave you the look)
