Flack/Monroe #2 - It's a Block Party Thing!

As for different energies... Opposites attract, no? I think it would be such an asset to the show to portray how Flack and Lindsay play off each other. I mean, they have a great dynamic already and I just think that since Flack's an old school detective, per se, and Lindsay's all science it would be good for the show to display how the two sides work together. Also known as the "Please Support My Ship, CBS" campaign.
 
Ok random FM question (and of course I don't remember if I have asked this question before or not.)
A) What type of jobs do you think Lindsay & Flack would do if they weren't a cop & a csi? Or what's the weirdest job you think they would get?
B) If they didn't meet as a cop & csi do you think they would ever run across each other?
 
A) I could see Flack involved with sports---either as an athlete or as someone working within the sports field. I could see Lindsay working for a large corporation like Microsoft or working as a PR assistant. Somehow I just see her in business---dealing with figures, planning, or meeting with the public.

Weirdest jobs: Flack joins the ice capades;Lindsay works as a bellydancer for parties! LOL!

B) I think they might meet at the rink: Flack would be a hockey player that meets Lindsay who is a public relations assistant for the hockey league.
 
a) if flack wasn't a cop...i could actually see him as a small business owner. you know, makes enough to be successful and put food on the table but not enough that he lives on a pent house on the upper east side. he's got enough charisma and charm to win people over, but he hasn't got enough ego to actually be that multimillion dollar corporations leader. either that, or i see him as a public service worker. as for lindsay, i can't really take her out of the lab. maybe working for a drug company of some kind, but still heavily involved with science. it'd be kind of hard taking her away from that without changing her.

b) i'd say they probably meet, given the jobs i said above, with lindsay working on a product that don would need to have for his business, and the relationship taking off that way. starting at the professional level and working from there.
 
you know, when you fluffys agree together, it just ends up making me agree with you, and you two know how much I hate that.

What is the most romantic or unromantic thing you think either Flack or Lindsay or Both would do either before or during their relationship? ;)
 
romantic? i think don would surprise her with theater tickets. then actually sit through the show with her and not complain about it (especially if it's a musical).

i'm not sure what lindsay would do yet. i'll have to think about it and come back to you. same with the unromantic stuff.
 
I agree with Em. He would take her to something that she likes and actually seat through it. and not complain. Her, about the same.
 
teeheehee. i love those pics from COTP. they're so cute.

...*sighs* i wish they had more scenes this season. it would have been fun to watch.
 
Hey this season that sounds like negative thinking. They will have more. But if you mean to say you wish they had more scenes last season then I can agree. I say the scenes are just missing that's all. :lol: ;)
 
Flack seems like the kind of guy who would do anything for a friend, or for his girl if it would make her feel beautiful. I think that for something really romantic, he would do something that would surprise Lindsay. Get her flowers maybe, make her dinner with candles and tell her how much beyond words that he loves her.

As for Lindsay, I think she would find out something that Flack really wanted and surprise him with it -- tickets to a Yankees/Red Sox game maybe.

yeah, flack does really seem the romantic type. he's steady and secure, and that really tends to bring out some of the romantic qualities in a guy, in my opinion anyway. i would love actually to see those qualities at work on the show, even if *whispers* not through lindsay. i'd love to see how he would wine and dine a girl. even if it's just one date. and then he can go running back to lindsay and do the exact same thing. :D

and i did mean last season. until s3 starts, s2 is still this season. my brain hasn't quite switched over yet.
