Flack/Lindsay #1- Shipping FM Radio

i actually was kind of intersted in the miami episode, so i'm not complaining. i feel less out of the loop.

anyways, if flack hadn't made it (heaven forbid) i think lindsay would have probably taken it pretty hard considering she was two seconds away from being in the same position. or she would have started beating herself up for not being the one to go with mac, and don having to go instead.

i think.

now, if it had been the other way around, and lindsay was the one in the hospital, i think that flack would have taken it pretty hard as well. the NYPD is like his second family, and he always takes it hard when a cop goes down. i remember in 'officer blue,' the way he was telling mac about the officer's death was so emotional, that i actually thought flack knew the guy. and since it was lindsay who had gotten hurt, he would have been even more upset, and there would be angst galore, and i would be happy.

...this has to be the longest post i've ever written.

He would be concerned I think. And I think he would make sure she knew that it wasn't her fault.

And I watched 2 s1 eppys to get my NY fix... but it wasn't the same without Lindsay.. :(

I didn't mind. I watch all three shows.

I completly agree with you iluvrr but I think that Lindsay feels guilty either way. If he dies or not. I think the way she looked at hime in the season finale made me think that she feels guilty already that he is in the hospital and she is okay. I dont know, maybe that was just my imagination running away with me again. :p

Ok What do you think their families would think of the other? Would Flack cop family like Lindsay? Would Lindsay Midwestern family like Flack? ;)

Flack cop family might make fun of her the way Danny does, at first, but Lindsay would stand up for herself and they'd approve, cause Don and his New Yorker tendencies are rubbing off on her.

Lindsay Midwestern family would love Flack because he'd be especially charming and sweet and who could resist that? No to mention, it'd be obvious that Lindsay is his whole world and her mother and sisters would love that. Her brothers would have to give him the "hurt her and we'll make you sorry" speech, though.

Her brothers would do the "smile and nod" routine.

Flack: ...
Brother #1: Smile and nod.
Brother #2: You hurt Lindsay and we'll kill you.
Brother #1: It won't be quick, either. We'll take the time to make it hurt.
Flack: I hurt her and I'll be glad to let you kill me.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to drop in and deliver a little fanfic that I wrote for this pairing. The title is rather uninspired, I'm afraid, but I hope you like the story itself. :)

"Sunshine"

Lindsay is close to her Dad (that's what we've gathered from Stealing Home and many country homes are like that) so not only would Flack have to worry about the brothers, but also her Father.

And Fay! I must go read!

I just read that, Fay, and I totally loved it. Too bad I'm really lazy and don't want to log in on ff.net right now. :(

I promise I'll review later, though.

Faylinn I read it but couldn't review it on fanficiton.net. I really liked I can see him banding her from the stove as a joke. And I like how you had them share their favorite childhood place with each other. ;) And we wouldn't be upset if you wrote more for FM.

Thanks guys! :) I have at least one more FM story to write, but I have no clue what it's going to be about yet. (Apparently my bag of random 'ships doesn't want to be so random after all.)

Oh, and re: Don banning her from the stove? He'd totally go all out and make a sign or something. I think he'd do just about anything to get her to smile or laugh. ;)

I could see Flack's family liking Lindsay because she probably seems like the 'girl next door.' I'm assuming that Lindsay's family might be old-fashioned. And old-fashioned country folks like 'justice' and those that serve out 'justice.' So I could definitely see them liking Flack. He's an 'old school' cop that believes in getting the bad guys. ;)

Love the Dad/brothers scenario! :)

The fic summary had me LMAO---ummm---'sausage.'

 *sigh* I knew it was only a matter of time before somebody mentioned the 'sausage.' ;) :p  I suppose I could have used bacon, but I just thought sausage sounded amusing. :p But the fact that it had the type of rating that could be linked to on here should have told you that I didn't mean that type of 'sausage,' you naughty girl!

But we're on Talk CSI, Fay. You know we're bound to think of something dirty, no matter what the direct meaning of the word is. I mean, honestly -- Italian Sub and meatballs on the Danny/Flack thread? XD

I know, I'm guilty of the naughty thoughts too. I knew when I was writing the story that the sausage was a potential hazard, and yet I threw caution to the wind and used it anyway--call me a risk taker! ;) :p

And you're spreading the 'Italian sub' to other threads? Now that's just asking for trouble.
