Lilly smiled slightly and her stomach dropped when he said he'd take of her forever. Because there was that whole siuation with Maxine. "Why are you so nice to me?" she asked as she looked up at him.
 
Eric thought for a few seconds. "Because I understand you. I think you and me are alot more alike than we first thought. And you deserve to be treated well for once in your life, you deserve to be loved" He said softly
 
Lilly smiled slightly and squeezed his hand. She didn't know what else to say to him. Her mind was going a mile a minute right now and she didn't know what to think anymore, so she just gave in, "i love you." she said simply.
 
Eric smiled. "I love you too" He replied, looking into her eyes and biting his lip a little. He knew it was all complicated, he was engaged to her sister but he didn't want to think of that right now. he just wanted to enjoy being with her.
 
Lilly's smile grew. She knew in the end that he'd wind up doing what was right. But her mind didn't want to think of what was right. She just wanted to be with him.
 
Eric reluctantly let go of her hand as their meals arrived. "Now you better eat all of this because like you said, you'll need your strength" He smirked.
 
Lilly laughed and shook her head, "Yes sir." she said with a small salute and then took a bit out of her hamburger.
 
Eric smirked and began to eat. "Thats better" He said, nodding a little. "You remember that Ms Valera, you have to behave yourself around an Officer" he laughed.
 
Lilly raised an eyebrow at him, "What?" she asked innocently, "You going to arrest me?" she asked as she took another bite out of her burger.
 
Eric grinned. "Oh I don't know about that, I think you'd enjoy the whole handcuff thing far too much" He teased.
 
Eric raised an eyebrow. "My my Ms Valera and they say it's guys who think like that" He smirked as he ate his fries
 
Lilly shrugged, "Well i'm not saying guys don't think about it." she stated. "But I certainly do." she said teasingly.
