Everything's Coming Together Or is It? A Miami Rp # 13

Lilly smiled slightly and rested her head on his shoulder. Valera heared the phone ring, it instantly going through her brain and making it feel like a thousand nails had gone through it. Valera stummbled into the kitchen and picked up the phone, "Hello." she said with her eyes closed.
 
"Hey" Eric said quietly, not really knowing what else to say. He pulled Lilly closer to him and snuggled up to her, resting head against her. He absentmindedly played with her fingers as he spoke, lacing them together then turning her palm over to trace shapes with his fingertips.
 
Valera sat the bottle down on the counter and walked over to the kitchen table and sat down, "Hi." she said quietly, running a hand through her hair. She suddenly felt sadness wash over her. "How did we get like this, Eric?" she asked the pain evident in her voice. Lilly didn't say anything just let Eric hold her.
 
Lilly looked up at him and then looked away. Valera shook her head, not that Eric could see though. "No. I'm not ok." she said honestly as she wiped her eyes again. "Eric, I did something really stupid." she said, her voice barely over a whisper.
 
Eric sighed and closed his eyes. "What did you do?" He asked softly, already predicting her answer. He leant down and linked his fingers with Lillys, squeezing her hand gently.
 
Valera sighed, unable to stop the tears from falling now. But she couldn't bring herself to say it, so she just sobbed into the phone. Not really caring if Eric or the whole world heared her.
 
Eric sighed. "Oh come on baby, please don't cry" He said softly, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. He held Lilly even closer to him and breathed in her scent once again. Moving the phone away he leant down and kissed her lips gently and whispered an apology before putting the phone back to his ear.
 
Lilly shook her head, letting him know that it was ok. But Valera couldn't help it. "I can't help it, Eric." she started. "I just keep screwing everything up. I pushed you away. I pushed my parents away. I get myself in trouble." she cried. She took a minute before continuing, "I killed our baby."
 
Eric tightened his grip on Lillys hand. "You didn't kill her, don't be stupid. It was an accident" He said, his voice sounding weak and broken.
 
Lilly squeezed his hand back slightly and looked up at him. Valera shook his head, "No. It wasn't an accident, Eric. It was my fault." said Valera, her voice also sounding weak and broken.
 
"Val, please don't talk like that" Eric begged. He didn't like talking about what had happened especially if she was talking like she was now
 
"But that's how I feel, Eric." she said softly. "I feel like I destroy everything that comes within 5 feet of me. And I can't handle that." she finished, her voice sounding even more helpless.
 
"No you don't Val" Eric said softly, despair showing through slightly in his voice. He leant down and placed a kiss on Lillys lips to calm himself and turned his attention back to the phone
 
Lilly sighed, she didn't really like what was going on right now. Don't get her wrong she loved being with Eric but right now her sister needed him more then she did.

Valera shook her head, "Look, Eric." she said her voice raising slightly. "I'm sitting in a house by myself while you are god knows where. And my sister left." she said as she wiped at her face again. "I push everybody away."
