Everything's Coming Together Or is It? A Miami Rp # 13

Eric looked at Valera for a few seconds and shook his head. "It's too late" He said quietly. "Call me when we've both cooled off" He finsihed. Walking back out into the hall he called Marisa and picked her up. Carrying her and the bag her placed them both into the back of the car. Looking one last time at Valera, he got in the drivers seat and drove away.

Valera watched as Eric got into his car and drove away. Lilly came up behind her, "Maxie....I can explain."

Valera laughed, "You can't explain his temper, Lilly. It wasn't your fault." she stated.

Lilly nodded, realizing they weren't fighting because she had found out about them. "Is there anything I can do?" she asked looking at her sister sadly.

Valera nodded and walked back into the house, "Yeah, just leave me alone for awhile."

Lilly nodded, "OK. You wanna go get a drink?" she offered again, forgetting her sister was pregnant for a minute.

Valera looked up at her with a deathly glare on her face, "Get out, Lilly!" she yelled. She didn't mean to yell at her sister. She was just so angry. Lilly nodded and grabbed her purse and got into her car and drove away.

Valera ran a hand through her hair and sighed a drink did sound really good right about now. She looked down at her stomach and rubbed her hand over it gently and she shook her head, walked into her room and got into bed, barring her head into Eric's pillow and crying.

Eric sighed and oulled up at his Dads. He let himself in and carried Marisa through to the bedroom his Dad had decorated for her. Laying her down in the bed he kissed her cheek. She was worn out already plus she had a touch of a temperature so it was best she get some rest. Eric walked into the sitting room and flopped down the sofa. The house was strangely quiet without his Dad.

Lilly had stopped at a gas station for directions to the address Eric had left for her. But within an hour she had finally found the place and pulled up into the drive way. She debated whether or not go in, knowing perfectly well what Eric wanted to do, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to.

Valera sat up in her bed, their bed and wiped at her face. She looked around the room and heared the silence of the house. Marisa wasn't in the living room watching Cinderella, Eric wasn't lying next to her, she was probably going to lose her baby anyway. It happend once, why not a second time. She walked down stairs and into the kitchen. She opened up one of the cabinets and grabbed a bottle that was hidden behind a box of crackers.

Eric closed his eyes and leant his head back against the sofa. His head felt like it was spinning. He sighed deeply and ran a hand through his hair. They'd never really argued like that before.

Lilly looked up at the house and sighed before getting out of her car. She walked up to the door and hesitated before knocking. She was about to turn and walk away when Eric opened the door.

Valera walked into the sitting room and sat down on the couch, vodka in hand. She had just taken a sip when something sticking out from under the sofa had caught her attention. She sat the bottle down on the table and pulled out one of Eric's dress shirts. She looked at it sadly and closed her eyes.

Eric pulled her close to him and held her against his chest without saying a word. He breathed in her scent and rocked slightly. "I needed you" He whispered into her hair.

Lilly let him hold her and closed her eyes, loving the feeling of her in his arms. But her mind got the best of her and she pulled away slightly, "You wanna tell me what that was all about?" she asked softly.

Valera stood up and grabbed the bottle, taking Eric's dress shirt with her and putting it into the laundry basket, not noticing the lip stick on the collar.

Eric sighed. "I was defending you in a conversation, she asked me how I knew so much about you and well i got defensive. Then everything that we'd both been keeping in came flooding out and all I could think about was how I wanted to get home to see you" He said softly, pulling her inside and shutting the door with his foot.

"Kind of" Eric said, hoping she wouldn't blame herself. "But if it hadn't have been that it would have been something else, everything was already under the surface" He moved her into the sitting room and sat down on the sofa and opened his arms out to her. "Cuddle with me?" He asked quietly.

"My dads" Eric said quietly as he pulled her into his arms and lay back with her. He caressed her shoulder gently and held her close to him.

Lilly nodded and closed her eyes as she snuggled into him, "You know I don't really like leaving Maxie alone like this." she started. "Maybe you should call her." she said quietly, hoping Eric wouldn't think she was trying to push him away. Because she wasn't she just wanted to make sure that her sister was ok. Which was odd because she was sleeping with her sister's fiancee, but yet she wanted to know she was ok at the same time.

Eric nodded and looked at her. He smiled a little and pulled her to him into a kiss. Her kisses took his breath away yet still had the ability to calm him and make his heart race at the same time. Reluctantly pulling away he reached for his cell phone and held it to his ear as he dialed Valeras number without removing himself from their embrace.
