*they fell asleep in each others arms*

Ryan:hey H.
H:eek:h hello Ryan.
Ryan:so what do we have for today?
H:well you and Eric will be over downtown. while Calleigh, Natalia, Speed, Heather and I work a double uptown.
Ryan:eek:k H. I'll go get Eric

*Ryan went to get Eric*
Ryan:Hey Eric, H needs us over downtown at a scene
Eric:eek:h ok. just let me put this away *he was packing up an evidence box from a case they solved yesterday* *he put it away and came back with his kit* Ok lets go...


*they arrive at the crime scene*
Ryan:got a tire tread here...take a look
Eric:looks like it's from a Corvette...*he sees some paint transfer on the ground near a pothole* looks like the car bottomed out...i got some red paint here.
Ryan:great I'll analyze that later...

*meanwhile*
Heather:found the murder weapon...*she held it up*
Speed:you're kidding me right?
Heather:what?
Speed:that's a pen.
Heather:yeah but it's covered in blood...it wouldn't be the first time i've seen a pen used to kill someone..it happened in New York a few years back
Speed:eek:h. it's jsut that it's kinda wierd.
Heather:hey i never said it wasn't wierd.
Speed:true.
Calleigh:can we please focus on the case here?
Heather:sorry Cal.

*Later*
*Speed and Heather were out to dinner*
Heather:Speed, babe, this has been the most perfect night ever
Speed:not quite. i have a surprise for you...come on..*they paid and left*
*Speed drove out to the beach where they walked along the ocean under the full moonlight*
Heather:is this the surprise?
Speed:no. this is....*He got down on one knee* Heather, will you marry me?
Heather:eek:h Speed!! yes, i'll marry you!!!
*Speed put the beautiful silver engaement ring with a saphire set in it on her finger*
*they kissed*

*meanwhile.....*
*Ryan was rubbing Eric's back*
Eric:I love it when you do this to me. :devil:

Eric:this...*and he began to undress Ryan*

H: Speed's a lucky guy. He needs someone like you in his life. i think it's good for him. and you know...ever since you moved down to Miami i've never seen Speed happier. He smiles all the time and just seems all around happy. he never used to be that way since i've known him. and i know that you two dated while you were in New York and he was here in Miami but i think it made a huge difference when you moved down here....*smiles*
Heather:*Smiles* thanks H...
H:you look so beautiful in that dress. and you know....that dress belonged to my mother....
Heather:well thanks for letting me wear it...
H:i actually want you to have it...it would mean a lot to me if you kept it....
Heather:thank you...i'll treasure it forever.

Heather:yep....and i apppreciate you walking me down the aisle...seeing as my father and mother don't give a damn about me. and didn't bother showing up....

*they left and went to Speed and Heather's condo for their friday movie night*

Speed:where are they?
Heather:i don't know babe....maybe they are "occupied" at the moment

*the doorbell is heard and Heather answers the door*
Heather:hey there you two are....i was wondering if you were going to show.
Eric:sorry it's just that someone like to take his time....
Ryan:*grins*
H:hey guys.
*Calleigh,who was sitting on a lounge chair, and Natalia, who was on the second lounge chair, waved to them as they sit on the loveseat*
Heather:eek:k....so which movie will it be....we're going to vote.....ok so who wants Hart's War?
*Horatio raises his hand*
Heather:who wants.....The Day After Tomorrow?
*Calleigh and Natalia raise thier hands*
Heather:eek:k....who wants Dazed and Confused?
*Speed, Ryan, Eric raise thier hands*
Heather:eek:k if you add me to the last one that makes it...one for Hart's War. Two for The Day After Tomorrow. and Four for Dazed and Confused. so Dazed and Confused it is!
*Heather puts on the movie and sit on the couch in between H and Speed. She cuddles up in Speed's arms as they watch the movie*

*after the movie is over*
Speed:i never get tired of that movie!!!!
Eric:yeah it's a classic!
H:i can't believe i've never seen that movie. it's really quite funny.
Heather: i know!! and was it me or was Slater(Rory's character in it :D) cute?
Natalia:no he was very cute
Calleigh:i thpugh Slater was so cute...and Pink was too.
Heather:yeah, but no one compares to Speed. *smiles*
Speed:awww...sweet.
Heather:keep up that sarcasm mister and you'll be sleeping alone tonight.
Speed:but i was beiong serious....

Ryan:well we have to get home....see you guys tomorrow...

*H moved to the lounge chair to give Speed and Heather aome space*

*Speed gets three beers and hands one to H, and hands one to Heather who refuses to take it*

Heather:i don't think i should....we'll talk about it later.

*after H finishes his beer he goes home and Speed and Hather go to bed*

I know I'm a bit of a horror-bunny, but I must say that I liked the bit where Ryan was kidnapped best. maybe some more angst is needed?

Ryan:I asked you to clean up today!!! that's all i asked....straighten up a bit while i was at work seeing as you have the day off. and you couldn't even do that!!

Ryan:don't you "Ry, Babe" me!!!! Eric....I just can't deal with this right now!! i have been working twelve shifts straight!!! and all i ask for is a little help!!!!!

*Eric decides to make it up to Ryan by clening the whole house*

Heather:it's nothing i just hve to get these to H and then check on something with Alexx....then i'll explain.

heather:uh yeah. i mean the home test was positive but...they aren't always effective.

Heather:yes? is it good or bad?
Alexx:well it depends if youand Speed want a baby or not.
Heather:we've talked about it and we do.
Alexx:well then it's good news.....you're pregnant.
Heather:really? oh my god. i have to go tell Speed right now! thanks Alexx!!!

*a very frustraited Ryan walked in the door and looked around and saw that everything had been cleaned and his mood changed when he saw Eric standing there*

*Heather was quite "larger" now that she was seven months along and Eric, Ryan and the others couldn't help but crack a joke now and again......which wasn't such a good idea......*

Eric:OK!! OK!!!! I'm sorry!!! *as Heather was slapping him on the shoulder* *Alexx came over*
Eric:Alexx! help me! she won't stop slapping me! i made one little joke and she just went off!!!!
Alexx:you had it coming to you. *Heather stops hitting him*
Heather:i hope you learned your lesson!

Alexx:Eric, first rule of life...never mess with a pregnant woman.

*Heather stalks off towards Trace*
