I do miss the lab rat Greg.....but I do have to say - his character has really grown on me. I am really enjoying the "more mature" Greg. He still has a great sense of humor.

Yeh, i totally agree. It's that lab rat Greg was funny, and made jokes and made us laugh. But mature Greg does have a good sense of humour, we love him, he just doesn't have as much time to show us his humour.
 
It almost sounds like people are making him out to be two different people, but he is still Greg...just all grown up. I'm sure Greg still fully had his sense of humor but only probably shows it outside of work now, which we just do not get to see.
 
You're right Dizzney. Greg is only one. Of course is a difference between Lab Rat Greg and CSI Greg but it's still the same person. I really can't believe why such a good change like growing up is not understand.

And bubbles, totally agree that Greg still have his sense of humour. He just can't share it during work. Oh, I reminded about this epi where he helped Sara and Ronnie - this one where they found reporter's body (8th season, I always forget the title, with carp, Case Of Cross-Dressing Carp?). Greg was so happy like little boy when he was telling about LV history. And how not to believe that our funny Greggo is not there?
 
Exactly, that episode is a perfect example of his sense of humor and the excitement still being there for him. That was the episode where he first mentioned his book too.
 
Yeah, in that ep we saw how he still has that boyish charm about him. Like he was so starstruck when he met that one woman who signed that book for him. :lol: He's still the same Greg... just a wee bit more mature. Although, I bet when he's at home (away from the lab), he still jams to his music... probably singing into odd items or wearing silly hats and whatnot. Oh, lordy... now I can see him doing the Tom Cruise-Risky Business underwear dance. :lol: I'd totally love to see that.
 
Yeah I can still see Greg being goofy around his friends outside of work and stuff.

There was a recent Eric siting with Jorja. Someone posted this on their Blog about seeing them.

Well we got to the airport in plenty of time. Before she came out, I noticed a guy walking out of the terminal who looked familiar. And as he passed me, it hit me!! It was the younger guy from CSI (Eric Szmanda who plays Greg)!! And not 2 minutes later the dark haired girl (Jorja Fox who played Sara) from CSI came out too!!!! We drive through Hollywood and don't see one star and then we come to the airport in Alaska and see two!!

So I guess it is vacation time :) for them.
 
Hehe, that's cool. A cast vacation perhaps? I wonder where the rest of them were. :lol:

I was watching "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom" (god I almost always start to type "grape" instead of "grissom" :lol: ) tonight and there was a cute/funny scene with Greg and Cath.

Greg is processing some maggots. Some are stuck to duct tape. Catherine walks into the room.

Cath: What's with the tape?
Greg: Well, the evidence wasn't cooperating, so I stuck it to them.
Cath (grins): Cute!

:lol: It just cracked me up.
 
Yeah that is a cute scene with the little smirk he makes too.

No, Jorja and him are always doing things together, I guess that makes vacationing too.
 
I think its really sweet that Jorja and Eric have gone on holiday together, you always hear about them begin otu and about together. it's cool that they're so close. I just wish I could have been at that airport!! haha.

And I love Cath/Greg scenes, they're like flirty but jokey flirty not flirty flirty lol.

Oh, lovely scenes with Greg and Cath. My number one is scene with headress. It's just perfect... And Grissom's face:lol: I can watch it ten times and still laugh like I watched it first time.
 
Yeah secretly I also sort of ship Greg and Catherine, but I love the LOVE too. :D

I wonder if they will ever address Greg not having a gun or rather him finally carrying a gun. I think that would be interesting to see happen soon on the show.
 
They need to let him carry a gun. I want a screencap of Greg pointing his gun as he walks into a crime scene. :lol: :D

I guess it was Grissom that I was thinking about who used to not carry a gun and now does. :lol:
