As I said this is only a submission, NOT a nomination. Don't get too excited just yet, the Emmy's are known for snubbing CSI. Last yr he was submitted for FannySmackin and nothing came of it, unfortunately I expect the same thing to happen but we can always hope for the best.

Yeah like I said if he should have been nominated at anytime, last year would have been his year. I do not see anyone from CSI getting on this year. It's going to be a weird Emmy's anyway since the tv season was shorter due to the strike this year.

I wonder how they will fill in the DVD for this season. Maybe we will finally get a commentary track done by Eric! I would love to see some bloopers too.

Yes George was also submitted, in fact all the main actors on CSI were submitted but its a matter of whether or not those submissions become nominations. And yes anything is possible.
 
would be nice. I bought the Net from Ebay and it came today and I've been watching it all day. (I live in the US but my dvd player can play region 2 dvds) Eric is just so adorable in it. I love that bleach blond hair!
 
Yeah! Someone else to talk to about the Net. I know he looks so cute with his bleached blond hair. Jacob reminds me a lot of the early Greg days, very flirty and devilish.
 
Yeah cool, although I love how he looks and acts in The Net I can see why it lasted only one season, it was pretty lame. But then again if it went on to another season we would not have our beloved Greg on CSI!

Another note, I know we have discussed writing to TPTB about Greg's screen time and importance to the show. I think maybe its about time we did. I am sending a letter to Carol Mendelsohn (exec producer).

Yes, the plot of The Net did have more holes than my uncle's socks, but I thought it was a genuinely good show. I did think, however, that True Vinyl was a terribly weak film. The characters weren't fleshed out enough for me, the music seemed to take presedence (can't spell... ;)) I did enjoy the performance of whatsisname, the other DJ guy who Billy made friends with, he made a good job of his role, but Mia was an airhead (how surprising, I don't like the girl Billy kissed... go figure!) and I don't think we really ever got to know Billy enough.

Jacob Resh on the other hand... *sigh*. Adorable, even with the hair ;) He saved the world from the Praetorians! He's a hero!

My top 3 Eric characters (in no particular order) - Greggo, Jacob and Luke. I absolutely adore Luke to death. He was completely hilarious and a really likeable guy.
 
I love, love, the Net, its was a great show, and totally different from the movies...

Funny though is it me, or can you see early Greg in Jacob?

Ah thanks for the addresse, yeah when I wrote to Eric I asked that why his character didnt have more screen time..

Question, i know this is about Eric and he's really good at repling to fanmail.. Thanks Eric! my question is are any other stars that good is George as dedicated to his fans as Eric is?
 
Who is Luke? Is that his True Vinyl character?

I never got to see the tv show "The Net". I guess I either didn't know it was on, didn't watch it cause the I thought the movie was bad or the show was on at the same time as something else I watched. I might have to get bro to check on Blockbuster and see if they have it. :)

Now I liked True Vinyl. Now it was a movie about the music more so, so that is why they did not flesh out the characters as much. And I liked Billy in it because he was really different from Greg and Jacob as a character for Eric.

Jacob was adorable. The Net was a decent show, but I can see why it ended after one season. Him as Elvis was funny and yet somehow I felt embarrassed for him.

Luke in Snow Wonder annoyed me. He is one of least favorite characters he played. Maybe it was because the storyline was so dorky and stupid. It drove me nuts.

Derek in Little Athens...well he was not in it much but the role was interesting in different ways.:guffaw:
