Let's hope they continue to have eye sex. If they could lift the damned PG-13 thing and go R like they do in Saving Grave, then they could involved walls and tables... and desks, lockers... I think they should christen a whole lot of surfaces at the lab.

Oh, now that's a thought... I wonder what the lab's policy on this would be?

I always have problems with ratings. It's OK to watch gruesome crime scenes when you're 13, but you have to wait till you're 17 to watch sex scenes. Seriously... What can damage your emotional development more? I love the picture, BTW... I love how she checks him out, I would do the same thing and more.

^^ We could debate about that all day, but it's not going to get us anywhere. (Unfortunately :()

Hmmm I feel like I need another EC spoiler. Anyone know of anything?

Okay, I mean... look. Look at it. It's so damn pretty.

They want each other. Those looks can't have been scripted because, we've seen the scripts. The directions are never as clear cut as 'Calleigh stares blatantly at Eric's ass as he bends to shout at suspect'. Emily and Adam are more than aware of the smezyness between their characters and I personally think TPTB are harsh for denying them their much needed hawt love.

*steps off soapbox*

I think Kaz's avatar says it all really.

ETA: Thanks for the pics Caro. You made my day with those doll :)

We are talking about two of the hottest people on television right now - of course those looks weren't scripted. It's just a natural result of pure smexyness and chemistry.

I'm getting impatient now. This hawtness is ready to combust!

Is there more room on that soapbox?:D

Emily and Adam obviously have this intense chemistry. They practically make TV screen melt whenever they have a scene together.:luvlove:

One scene I will never forget is the one at the end of "Born to Kill". Calleigh is leaving on the elevator with Jake, and Eric is giving her that "You just snatched my heart out and stomped on it" look. All the while Calleigh is staring back at him with her heart in her eyes. That was an intense few seconds, and it just whetted our appetites for season six.

I personally can't wait for Sept. 22 to get here!;)

You're right, that scene was very intense. I think I actually might have been hopping up and down saying, "Noooooo! What are you doing?!" at the TV.

It. had. that. heart. wrenching.. quality to it.

And, of course, lots of eye smex was occurring.

Wow, we're almost half-way through this thread. That's crazy.

Can you believe we are almost 500 posts in??? We have certainly been active this summer! Hiphuggers here's to you!
Kaz, you are so right. I was almost in tears watching Eric just stare at Calleigh with that "kicked puppy" look in his eyes. He was so sad:(! Calleigh was giving him this "What the hell am I doing look?" and I just wanted to shake her until her teeth rattle... I know violence gets us nowhere, but that's the emotion that those two characters bring out in all of us.

Every time I watch THE SCENE from "Born To Kill" I want to cry. Now, it's very important to state that I'm probably the only person in this world who didn't cry at the end of Titanic, so this is big. I always have that bottom-lip-trembling kind of face when I watch BTK... One more sad scene, at least to me, is the one from Dangerous Son (was that the name of 6.01?) where Eric comments on Cal's tan and how it matches Jake's. I know it's not really a sad scene, but it's just a tragedy when two people who belong together are apart...

Yep... Apart for the whole season 6 when they should have been together. *sigh*

Season 7 is a bright shiny new season full of hope for Eric/Calleigh steaminess!

:p

I know it's not really a sad scene, but it's just a tragedy when two people who belong together are apart...

*Nods* It's also horrific at how long they've been apart for. I mean, clearly, E + C = BOOM!

ETA:  Audrey, we keep missing one another.
:guffaw:

We sure do! Usually one minute apart or so.

I hope that when Eric and Calleigh finally do get together they will have this huge fight first. All the better to open up those long repressed emotions of Calleigh's!:shifty:

Yeah! And then Jodie can write a post-ep for it. *Nods* Yup. She can do her zoomy angst-y business. (She's totally just going to ignore that comment...)

I think we've mentioned the idea of an EC fight like a million times - I'm too fixed on it happening now. If it doesn't I'll :scream:.

I don't know why, but I just think that a fight (any fight) is going to be the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. If they get into a heated argument then they will let go of the inhibitions that have held them (mostly Calleigh) back.

I just feel in my gut that the writers may go this way. Perhaps "Jealous Calleigh?";)

Any thoughts??:)

Haha, I think we all know jealous Calleigh would be fun ;).

A fight would just be... jgfhgjfdhgjkdsfhgsd!

It needs to happen. It's a perfect way of releasing the UST and getting Calleigh to open up. Yeah, she could do the whole, "I'll tell him with a look." Or, "If I speak really softly and say loads in as few words as possible, he'll ask me out," thing, but it just doesn't have that EC! factor. Tis just ec.

And this couple deserves EC!

But, that said, it depends how it was done. A poetic conclusion would be cute; a fight would be much cuter. Actually, that's the wrong word... hotter.
