Yay new thread! Yay getting drunk while writing porn! *has peach margaritas and microsoft word* I'm trying to finish the bondage porn tonight for the coming of age party :lol: As I said in the other thread, Hagan was an abusive stalker. My one fic that's posted destroys him. Honestly, I think Eric did all the mindless sex he did because he didn't think he'd ever be good enough for Cal and so was trying to distract himself from her. But it didn't work because he also craves her approval and disappointing her kills him. So now he's gonna admit to himself that she's really the one he wants and maturely and rationally go for it. Meanwhile, Calleigh doesn't think she's good enough for him so they have their wires crossed.

Hagen was a deuche. What did Calleigh see in him? He wasn't even good looking. She was probably just trying to make Eric jealous. It worked, too.

I miss season 2. I think I'm gonna watch the DVDs. They were so happy back then, so angst-free. Those were some GOOD times.

Miami should do a comedic episode. I think it would be awesome. It would probably have to include lots of Valera. I don't know why, but I love the idea of Eric/Calleigh and Ryan/Valera all hanging out. I bet they'd eventually become neighbors and their kids would play together.

The Best Defense was pretty gross. I mean, when Hagen came in and was like 'In the car last night', I was about to throw-up! Calleigh kept cutting him off(THANK GOD) and maybe she was about to spew chunks as well. I just can't think of Hagen and Calleigh...Agh! I don't think Eric dared to go around Hagen.

Ah, but in The Best Defense we also get sheepish Eric in front of Calleigh's dad. See, even back then he knew Duke would one day be his father-in-law, and he knew he couldn't afford to make any kind of bad first impression.

I've often wondered about the significance in that one scene where Calleigh and her dad are talking about Hagen, and then the camera shifts to Eric's face. Now why on earth would Eric's expression be important there, hmm? ;) It wouldn't be, unless of course there was a reason. Unless something were building. :D

They do that a lot; shifting to Eric's or Calleigh's faces when there's really no need to...other than of course to show their total concern/jealousy/love/whatever emotion the scene calls for from them. I love that. :D

Oh yeah, and there was also Eric's obvious dislike of Calleigh and Hagen together. And Calleigh's reluctance to tell him about it...didn't we just see the same thing with Eric not telling Cal about Natalia? Coincidence? Like hell. ;)

Oh, and THREAD 21!! YAY! :D

There are a lot of parallels. Like that scene with Eric and Marisol, the camera panned to Calleigh to catch her reaction. That happens a lot. They're always in each other's lives and I think the direction conveys that. Everyone else is in the periphery.

Another example: when Alexx mentioned Eric getting busted for drugs. Even as Alexx kept talking, the camera focused on Calleigh.

Calleigh(even my parents noticed this) was shocked when she found out Eric got busted for drugs. You could see the disappointment in her face and that Marisol and Eric scene, Calleigh was too jealous. The way she said "Pretty girl."

She was seriously angsting.

I really wish we'd gotten a scene in which Calleigh found out that Marisol was actually Eric's sister, not his girlfriend. They didn't handle that storyline very well.

Much as it repulses me, I can understand Calleigh and Hagen. Mostly because I get her childhood and her mentality. She took what she was offered because she doesn't think she deserves any better. And she doesn't think she's good enough for Eric. She probably doesn't realize how pretty she is, or if she does only as it helps or hinders her job performance. Also she probably sees herself as damaged, and therefore not able to just get any guy. Hagen was sweet to her in his demented way at first but then she realized that he has no ethics and doesn't understand how important integrity and appearances are to her. She was flattered by the attention at first, and then came to her senses. Eric is going to have to help her see that she's not damaged. She gets disappointed in him because she sees the potential, and same for him seeing it in her.

And dude I still don't get how she can not know who her best friend's closest sister is!!!

Corwin! He was on a old Ellen show on here yesterday. I'm glad it's not just me who gets all giddy at his name. ;)

I think about the "Easy" line quite a bit. Obviously, it wasn't an improv. It had to have been part of the script. Honestly, if they still meant for E/C to come off as platonic at that time, they I don't understand that like. No way could that come off a a protective friends kinda thing. Eric was totally thinking "Get your hands off of my woman!" whilst trying to still be nice and friendly to the guy. Clearly didn't work. :lol:

Okay, that mojito looks baaaaad. They're not supposed to be clear. I make awesome mojitos. Yuuuum. And tropical mojitos, with pineapple chunks, coconut Bacardi, and pineapple juice. It's the best. thing. ever.

Anyway. I'm sure the Corwin thing was jealousy/territorial. After all, Corwin is Eric's friend, probably one of his closest buddies. If anything Eric would be okay with a relationship between the two. But he nearly jumped on Corwin like a lion marking his territory. Also, how he put his hand on Calleigh's back. Very appropriate, given Corwin's line of work. He probably picked up the signs quick.

I love that last picture of Calleigh. She comes to life when she's around Eric.

I liked Hagen and Calleigh at the beginning. In the first episodes it looked sweet, but then they decided to make him a psycho. And who likes that? :lol:
Those caps are amazing it just brings many nice memories. I need to grab my DVDs and walk memory lane :) But then I'm sure that soon we'll get more to see;)

I'm just going back to the discussion we had about Jake in the previous thread. I can't help wondering if Eric making mistakes is not an indication of something that will happen. A interesting story would be to have Jake and Eric on a case together and Jake messing up and putting the blame on Eric, because well... he has made mistakes and is just such a perfect culprit. Calleigh would have a serious decision to make, trust Eric who says he hasn't done it or trust Jake who well is supposed to be her boyfriend... I thought about that last night and now I can't get that story out of my mind. It has good fic potential, if anyone is interested :)

^I agree with ya Elicia, Hagen in the beginnging was kind of cute. I didn't even mind the being together tooo bad but then he disappeared and came back all psycho! I mean in the ep Money Plane, when he corners in the hallway....he was sooo creepy.

They also handled the whole Marisol storyline wrong as far as Calleigh not knowing who she was. I mean, she and Eric have known each other how long? And she doesn't know what his sister looks like? The scne at the hospital was classic though. I could practically see the daggers coming out of Calleigh's eyes when they cut to her!! Jealous Calleigh is awesome. :lol:

As for Jake, I don't think he will be around too much longer and there has always been someting about him, to me, that screams sketchy. I don't know what it is, but the guy just seems like every time he talks it is out of the side of his mouth and he has something to hide. Ya know like he would step on anyone to get what wants.

YAY...a new thread!! Man we went through the other quick huh? :lol:
