I don't see Calleigh with a diamond at all. I think she's one of those 'silver band' kinda girls. The diamond business is disgusting and I hate it when I see women with these big diamonds. God knows how many people were killed because "the bigger the diamond, the more he loves you!"

And he'd never hear the end of it for spending a lot of money for just a stupid ring. I think she'd be much happier with something simple and inexpensive.

Oh...that would be so beautiful! Could you picture Miami letting them get engaged? I would cry of joy along with Calleigh! I could so picture that... :)

Maybe a small diamond, but nothing hugely extravagant. We've never seen Calleigh with any kind of showy jewelry, have we? A big, showy ring doesn't seem like her at all, and in their line of work it wouldn't be very practical either. But then again, neither are those twenty-inch heels. :lol:

I agree. The gesture would be totally sweet, and sure, Cal would be touched. Hell, who wouldn't be touched if Eric Delko went down on one knee and presented you with a ring? :D ;) But Eric's not exactly in the best shape financially, and Calleigh knows that, and in that one episode where she promises to look out for him, I think we can take from that that she's worried about him. Unless we're talking a few years down the line, I don't think Cal would let him buy her something that would put him further in debt.

She's totally going to be more concerned about him than what he can put on her finger. :)

I totally agree. I think that if she loves he (and it’s true) it’s not important if he gives her a second-rate ring. She anyway loves him :D

The fact that he'd ask her to marry him in the first place would reside over ANY ring but I would'nt mind seeing her wear a small diamond. I actually hate big diamonds they're so gaudy.

Yeah, they're way too tacky. Elizabeth Taylor, yes. Calleigh Duquesne, hell no. But Eric would know better than to buy her something like that. Simple and elegant would be the way to go.

Oh definitely. I could still see him doing it though. Just like I can see her saying 'It's beautiful. Now take it back' :lol:.

Calleigh is definately not a flashy jewelry type person. A nice silver or gold band that maybe a diamond imbedded in it; kind of like an eternity ring. That is something I could see her going for. My cousin has something similar to it. A silver band with small diamonds imbedded it.

I could see her with something like that, but most likely just a band. That's probably just my preference, though, since I don't like diamonds. Nothing says I love you like the blood, sweat and tears of African slave children.

What if she proposes to him?

There is something I could totally never picture. For her to pull a Marisol that would be kind of blah....especially since they seem to be building this up as in depth as they are.

But hey, it's Miami. So it could happen :lol:

Rings? Sweet! I LOVE looking at wedding rings...I like the ones you posted Jackie! Those are really pretty...and I agree about the flashy ring. Cal's a girl so she'd want a diamond of some kind, but definitely nothing big and flashy...and Eric being the brilliant man he is would most definitely know that about his love! :D By they way, Jackie I like your banner...nice! :D

Not all girls like diamonds and with the recent controversy over the diamond trade, I could easily see Calleigh choosing another stone, too. But I think all jewelry is ridiculous, anyway, so what do I know.

Hmm...I'm always going to bed at 1:30 in the morning. So I'm okay.

I don't think all jewelry is rediculous. I don't exactly know what Calleigh would want, but it would be simple I'd think. You know, I woulnd't see her turning down a tennis bracelet one day. But that would be too much in the near future maybe... and yeah, she doens't have to get a diamond. I have seen other rings just as pretty, but I like the ones Jackie posted.

I really like those rings you posted Delkolover ;)!! They're simple yet beautiful and non flashy. I can see her wearing one of those.

As for her proposing to him.........can't see it happening but who knows. I personally would prefer for him to ask her. I guess either way would have the same end result of them being married. :) :D

So far all the moves have been made by Calleigh. He'll probably jump head first into the first chance to propose.
