Alright, I think I finally figured out how to do this. Sorry it took me a while. I created the community, but I thought people were gonna help me with the decisions.

Alright, when you're done with your fic, send it to me. After the deadline I'll post all the stories anonymously (so you don't know who you're voting for). You'll read them all, and then vote one off, or maybe two to speed the process. The next week you'll vote two off, and so on until we're down to two. Then you'll vote one off and we'll have the winner.

I think this might be the best way. Since the stories will be anonymous no one will be biased in their voting. Also, reading the stories at once means they'll be fresh in your memory. Obviously reading ten stories at once isn't easy, so you'll have a few days to do this and then we'll start the voting.

What do you guys think? We don't have to do it this way if you guys have a better idea. Also, you don't have to write a new story every week, that would suck majorly and would be impossible to accomplish.

But I like that technique its not confusing and effective.

I like it. The thought of writing back to back fics was slightly terrifying :eek:.

Last two questions, then I swear I will shut up: 1)Will the voting be anonymous as well? 2). This few days we'll get to read and vote, how long is that? Two days? Three? A week?

Well, you can vote by leaving comments in the community after I post the fics. That's why you guys have to join the community. Since the fics will be anonymous the voting won't need to be, so long as you guys refrain from posting rude comments like "that fic sucked!" etc.

I don't know, I was thinking a week. You guys can read 10 fics in a week, right? If not then I guess two weeks should be fine.

I need some ideas for the fic though... I'm a bit stuck. :lol: I've never wrote smut before. I've written before/after-sex scenes, but... :lol:

:lol: I think it'll be miraculous if we do get just the one fic a piece finished. :lol: Why are we so lazy?

As for reading the fics, yeah, I think we'd probably need two weeks to read them all, or at least ten days - a fic a day. That at least gives us time to recuperate between reading them, you know? We might need that. :lol:

And, speaking of fic, the second chapter of my absolute fluff fic (yeah...absolute fluff...it surprised me too :lol: ) is up. :D I mentioned a scenario I think in the last thread, and after I said it, it wouldn't leave me alone. So it found its way into the fic.

Ooo, hello all! I've been terrible and neglected this lovely little thread once again! I'm so naughty! But I've had my end of semester exams for like, the past month... but that shouldn't have stopped me. Shame on me... shame on me.

And whats this I hear? A porn writing marathon thing? Hmm... I can't write serious porn... if I joined and wrote some E/C smut it would be REALLY bad and REALLY cliche and possibly exceedingly fluffy or stupid or all of the above. Maybe I could just change the names from Aladdin to Eric and Jasmine to Calleigh in that Aladdin smut fic I wrote as a joke? Would y'all except that? I shall explore this porny community further and read all of your posts to see what it's all about!

Well, folks, I'm going to New York for 10 days. I was trying to finish the second chapter of my fic so I could post it before leaving, but it doesn't look like that's happening. I guess I'll post it when I come back.

As for writing porn....while I have my idea the whole writing part of making a fic is going down the drain!! Thank god these are going to be posted anonymously :lol:

I hope it's not too hot. It's not too hot, is it? There's nothing worse than NY when it's hot! My hair can't afford it.

I guess I'm taking a notebook with me so I can write on the plane. I have a plot, just need to sit down and write. Adam or Emily in NY right now by any chance? I wanna stalk Emily.
