You know that'll happen. They've always had feelings for each other and that won't stop, so next season I think we'll see them fall even more in love with each other because I can't picture Jake sticking around for long. :rolleyes:

My prediction is that Calleigh will dump Jake then finally go ahead and share her deep feelings to Eric.

I kinda hope we get to see Cal dump Jake actually...cuz then we'd get to hear..."Ya know Jake, as cute as you are...I just don't love you, in fact as cute as you are, you're nothing compared to the HOTTEST guy I know and love and am on my way to jump right now!" :D Wouldn't that be hilarious! :lol: And then yes, things will most definitely get busy baby! :devil:

These two are in love and I love how the writers are slowly revealing that to us...it's awesome!

I guess it's okay for her to get laid by Jake so they can get it out of there systems and then she can realize there isn't really anything else there. But if that happens, she could get her heart broken. :( But in the end, I suppose, Eric could come and rescue her. :)

The idea of Cal even touching Jake in that way makes me want to puke.

I foresee Jake hanging around til maybe the 4th or 5th ep of next season and then going bye bye; how and why? I have no idea but I definately don't see him sticking around that long.

Next season between E/C will mainly be about Cal needing to get over her issues about dating a co worker and more than likely sorting out her feelings for Eric. If we do go canon I don't see it happening before Feb sweeps. I am optimistic that is may happen around November sweeps but I am giving the writers until Feb sweeps to do something. If something doesn't happen by then, then I think it will get a little boring....and so far the writers are keeping this interesting; so I am optimistic that by Feb sweeps we will see them get down and do the nasty; mainly b/c I doubt we are going to get an E/C moment in every ep between the beginning of the season and Feb sweeps.

February makes more sense. November is too soon.

I don't care what Jake and Calleigh do, cause I'm pretty sure she's gonna end up with Eric anyway. I'm interested in knowing how the relationship will end. I hope they don't do something trite like have Jake cheat on her or something. I'm sure his arrogant attitude will remain, but so far Calleigh doesn't seem to have a problem with that, unless she's so scared of her feelings for Eric that she's willing to put up with it.

Even if she breaks up with Jake I don't think she'll hook up with Eric right away. She'll use her breakup as an excuse not to get with him. My guess is a few months will pass and she'll find herself getting closer to him and then February sweeps, or even May sweeps, it happens.

I agree that November would be too soon. Especially since, for me, the things that lead up to the couple getting together are almost as titillating as watching them finally give in to their desires. I can't remember who (this was a few pages ago) but someone said they kind of want to see them suffer, and I can't help but agree. Otherwise you'll end up with something like GSR: forced, awkward, and completely devoid of passion, which in my opinion is the absolute worst handling of an on-screen romance I have ever seen. It just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

There are such endless possibilities between Eric and Cal, I'd hate to see the writers screw up with them. It would be such a waste of great chemistry. Where else are you going to find this balance of caring, respect, lust, and just enough trepidation to make things interesting?

A lot of angst will be good with E/C just to see how they will deal with it and also to see how the writers deal with it and I agree that I would hate for the writers to screw it up with these two.

I watched the last 2 episodes of CSI:Miami and all the E/C angst made me remember why I loved this thread so much.

Hey, you need to make up for lost time. In fact, you and Jaffy should get together and write one giant monster porn fic.

It kinda sucks having no episodes to talk about. I want the DVDs out already and I want commentaries by Adam and Emily.

Mmmmm, it's my vacation time so more free time to spend here. That's good, right?

I don't care what the hell they do with Jake, as long as they get rid of him in time. You see, I don't know if I'm such an angst person. It's okay for awhile, but then it gets annoying. It's only worth it if they have a passionate kiss in the end or hot sex or something. I'm not a totaly fluff either. It's okay sometimes but it can get mushy. I just want them to be normal and in the end I hope they are.

I imagine when Adam and Emily do their commentaries it would be accompanied by porn music, and there'll be lots of moments of silence in which you hear a bed creaking.

The ride will be bumpy but I hope their relationship won't be too much. No Calleigh getting kidnapped and Eric rescuing her.

Hello everybody out there!!
I just recently started *really* watching CSI: Miami and pretty much instantly became a Hip Hugger ;-) Love the chemistry and the tension...the hotness doesn´t hurt also... LOL...
Anywayz, I´ve been reading on this board for a while but never found the time to sign up - well until now... so yer, I basically just wanted to say hi and give the thread a bump ;-)
