When I first heard Calleigh would be getting a new boyfriend, I was all, okay, he's not Eric, but maybe this'll be good because it means Calleigh gets a storyline. And then I read that Eric was going to have a new girlfriend too and my immediate though was damn it, he belongs to Calleigh! Because he does, heh. Then I got thinking...and it is interesting that they would put both of them in new relationships at the same time. I mean, that really seemed odd to me. As for them not ending well... poor Calleigh's never had a relationship that ended well at all. So odds are, this one won't either. As for Eric, honestly, I don't ever see anything working out for him, simply because of his relationship with Calleigh. Think about it. He's always there for her; she's always there for him. He's protective of her. His girlfriend would have to be mighty trusting to not be jealous of that relationship. And Eric was right there in the middle throughout the whole Hagen thing; both with his, uh, displeasure that he and Cal were dating, and there at the end when Hagen killed himself. So in that article in the tvguide when it says Eric has to choose between this new girl and his career, I wonder if maybe it's more like he has to choose between this new girl...and Calleigh. Hmm. Or...like I said, maybe I'm reading too much into this again. Probably. :lol:
